Is this SPF primer good for oily skin? If so, does it sit well under Estee Lauder Double Wear, without separation?

The Smashbox Photo Finish SPF 45 Primer is lightweight and non-greasy, so it can work for oily skin, but it does have more of a dewy, hydrating finish rather than a matte one. It should sit well under Estée Lauder Double Wear without separation - as long as you apply a thin layer and let it absorb for about a minute before going in with foundation. Since Double Wear is more matte and long-wearing, it can actually help balance out the glow from the primer. If you’re more on the oily side, you can also lightly set your T-zone or pair it with a mattifying primer in those areas for extra oil control.Was this answer helpful to you

That said, it leaves a more hydrated, dewy finish, so if your skin is very oily or you prefer a matte look, you might pair it with a mattifying primer in oil-prone areas like the T-zone. I've been trying out the Smashbox Photo Finish Invisible SPF 45 Broad Spectrum Primer and I'm really liking it so far! One thing that stood out to me right away is that it doesn't leave any white residue on my skin, which can be rare with SPF products.
