Works well without the overpowering added fragrance
Living Proof Leave-In Conditioning Spray has been great for my hair! Sometimes my wavy hair can get a little tangled and this leave-in conditioning spray makes detangling so much easier and leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth without weighing it down. I've also noticed less frizz after using it, which makes my hair look smoother and more manageable overall. Some leave-in conditioners I've found to be SO fragrant but this is pretty light, not overpowering. Definitely a product I'll continue using!
New formula
They discontinued the living proof detangler i have been using for years in the purple bottle. I have tried this one and the formula is not the same. It is more watery and i dont feel it provides the nourishing effects. The one in the purple bottle was more conditioner based. This does not feel like it is a leave in conditioner.
Bad sprayer
Comment is only pertaining to the spray nozzle which I find very dissappinting for the price. Hardly any, if at all, product comes out with each spray. Feels cheap.
Did not detangle my 4c curls

I am only writing this review because the salesperson sold me this product solely on the fact that it will detangle my 4c hair. And it does not. I was in Ulta to purchase Cecred's detangler and the Living proof shampoo & conditioner. The salesperson informed me that I should put Cecred back and that this one was a better detangler. I purchased both to test for myself. And I used both on my heavily tangled 4c hair. Only Cecred worked. I am a huge fan of the Living proof restore shampoo and conditioner. I have used those products for about 12 years. And will continue to use them. This product may compliment them as a leave in but it is not a detangler for all hair types. If you want to specifically detangle, then reach for Cecred.

When layering 5 in 1 perfecting cream with the no frizz cream styler for curly hair, which do you apply to the hair first?

Because the 5 in 1 provides light conditioning, you may want to use the No Frizz Smoothing Styler in place of the cream as a base prior to styling. If you enjoy the cream I would layer the cream over the 5 in 1. Being that the cream has conditioning as well and is designed to smooth and defrizz the hair, you may find the spray as a better option.Was this answer helpful to you

Is this product a replacement for the t.b.d. multitasking that came in a black tube?

PHD 5-1 works best with heat to gain the volumizing benefits it offers. TBD can be used as a deconstructing product if you want to enhance texture and layers to your style.
