Because the 5 in 1 provides light conditioning, you may want to use the No Frizz Smoothing Styler in place of the cream as a base prior to styling. If you enjoy the cream I would layer the cream over the 5 in 1. Is this product a replacement for the t.b.d. multitasking that came in a black tube?

PHD 5-1 works best with heat to gain the volumizing benefits it offers. TBD can be used as a deconstructing product if you want to enhance texture and layers to your style. Both will help to smooth, and both are designed for blow drying. PHD has an ingredient to also enhance volume.Was this answer helpful to you

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I am still searching for a product that will detangle, conditoin and heat protect without being so dry. Not sure why that is with the last three heat protectants that I have tried. They make my hair feel and look, well, dry! I will have to stick with my leave-in condiitoner (Briogio Dont Despair) which detangles as well and leaves my hair healthy looking (it just doesn't have heat protection). Looking for as clean ingredients as I can get and thought this Living Proof might be a good balance of condiitoning and protection without being too bad on ingredients. Oh well. Another no-go.
