Because the 5 in 1 provides light conditioning, you may want to use the No Frizz Smoothing Styler in place of the cream as a base prior to styling. If you enjoy the cream I would layer the cream over the 5 in 1. Is this product a replacement for the t.b.d. multitasking that came in a black tube?

PHD 5-1 works best with heat to gain the volumizing benefits it offers. TBD can be used as a deconstructing product if you want to enhance texture and layers to your style. Complimentary from livingproof I really enjoyed using this leave-in conditioning spray. It detangles my hair quickly and makes it feel softer and more manageable especially on days when my hair feels dry. I also appreciate the added UV and heat protection. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because I wish it added just a bit more moisture for my ends. But overall it's a really solid lightweight leave-in that leaves my hair smooth protected and easier to style.
