I use this product before cleansing with a non-foaming cleanser. I haven't had any negative side effects from it, BUT it's much more watery and thin than I would like, causing it to spread out over my hand before I can spread it around my face. Formula Has Changed… So Disappointed

I have used this product for YEARS and considered it a holy grail product in my skincare routine. However, the new formula is TERRIBLE. It doesn't wash off cleanly like it use to. Instead, it leaves an oily mess on your face that doesn't rise completely with water. Unfortunately, I will be on the hunt for a new cleansing oil.

This product broke me out TERRIBLY!!! After using for a few days I started to break out and get closed comedones! I got gifted a sampler from my friend. This oil cleanser is certainty not for all skin types. I am still trying to fix my skin.

This was the only oil cleanser that worked with my oily prone sensitive skin. However they changed the formula and added Ethylhexyl Palmitate which is the most pore clogging ingredient

I don't wear make up so maybe that's why I don't feel any different. I also don't like the oily texture that disappears when lathering and didn't feel like my skin was clean after using it. It just felt weird on my skin unfortunately.
Worst step 1 cleanser I've ever tried!!
I'm not new to the double cleansing game- been doing it for years and I've tried upwards of 10+ cleansing oils and balms (current fave is the Madagascar Centella Cleansing Oil). I'm also not new to Shisedo, I've used their sunscreens for years and have tried the clarifying wash, ultimune serum, and a few others- all of which I LOVED!! But this?? It's the worst cleansing oil I've ever used. It's thick, it doesnt lift/remove makeup, it's a nightmare to wash off, and it gave me some of the worst breakouts I've had in my adult years (likely due to the fact that its nearly impossible to remove). 0/10.
