Amazing! Finally something that works!

I started using this product 20 days ago and I'm so happy I found this product. I've been struggling with acne for almost 5 years (from when I was 13 years old until now). I tried a lot of (expensive) products, but nothing worked for me. I started using this serum in combination with a cleanser (Y...

Great for acne prone skin

Submitted 8 days ago

This has worked great for my acne prone skin. It even stopped a pimple from coming up from under the skin. I have been using this as a toner and it really absorbs into my skin.

I have oily skin, so my pores are large. This product shrinks them. It's perfect and I'll keep using it forever!

Q
Can this be used with Roc Retinol serum capsules? If so, how? And if not, why is that?
Asked by Iz
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. However, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is compatible with The Ordinary's Retinoid range. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can I use this product with the Peach & Lily Glass skin serum? Or would that be contradicting?

Q
Hi! I am a first time buyer of this skincare brand. I just purchased this serum, and wanted to know if this should be stored in a fridge or is it safe anywhere?
Asked by miranda
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
We suggest storing the Granactive Retinoid and Retinol products in the fridge after opening. The remainder of our serums can be stored at room temperature, however, there is no harm in refrigerating (with the exception of The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% which should not be refrigerated). Upon opening, please consult the period after opening (PAO) symbol for the product shelf life. Was this answer helpful to you

My 80 year old father has very oily eyelids, which are creating quite the problem for him, and I was curious if he could use this to control the oil production.

Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Hi there! As Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% has only been tested for use on the face and neck, we'd recommend avoiding the eye contour. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
