- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageUnfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. However, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is compatible with The Ordinary's Retinoid range. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Hi! I am a first time buyer of this skincare brand. I just purchased this serum, and wanted to know if this should be stored in a fridge or is it safe anywhere?
- Asked by miranda
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageWe suggest storing the Granactive Retinoid and Retinol products in the fridge after opening. The remainder of our serums can be stored at room temperature, however, there is no harm in refrigerating (with the exception of The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% which should not be refrigerated). Upon opening, please consult the period after opening (PAO) symbol for the product shelf life. Was this answer helpful to you

My 80 year old father has very oily eyelids, which are creating quite the problem for him, and I was curious if he could use this to control the oil production.

- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there! As Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% has only been tested for use on the face and neck, we'd recommend avoiding the eye contour. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
