I tried the Ulta Magic Marker Lip Stain in Perfectly Pink, and while it definitely stays put (almost too well— it's a bit tough to remove), it wasn't my favorite. The color is a much brighter pink than I expected, which didn't really suit me. Application wasn't super smooth-it can go on a bit patchy...

I have been looking for a lip stain that lasts. bought this after trying on my hand. it went out smoothly and evenly and the swatch lasted all day. well I bought it and it goes on uneven and doesn't last on lips if you drink or eat something. not worth the price.
Disappointed in the color
I was looking forward to trying this brown lip stain, it looked ok when I swatched on my hand. Once I applied it to my lips I knew to expect the color would look different because of the shade of my lips, but what I wasn't expecting was for the stain to turn into a deep maroon shade. I knew it would most likely be more on the red side once applied, but I am really unhappy that the shade shifted completely on my lips.

I loved this so much I bought a second one in the same color. I will say to make sure you store them felt tip down to avoid it drying out. Love the shades, please come out with more! Preferably a cool toned light pink.
Not what I needed
I got this to match an old Victoria Secret Lip Stain Matte they no longer sell. This does do the trick at all. It barely goes on at all and hardly has any color stain to it. I still have to add additional lipstick on top of that, defeats the purpose.
I love this lip stain marker!
I had a lip stain marker many many years ago, and this reminds me of that one. It even smells the same (which I find pleasant). It is easy to apply, because it works just like a marker. The stain lasts a longtime, and looks good with a gloss applied over it. (After the stain dries, of course.) I would buy this product, again!
