I tried the Ulta Magic Marker Lip Stain in Perfectly Pink, and while it definitely stays put (almost too well— it's a bit tough to remove), it wasn't my favorite. I was sent this product in exchange for my honest review. Because I received it for free, my thoughts are likely a little positively biased, so please keep that in mind! I think my favorite thing is how well this adheres to the inner lip ring. I might actually go out and get it in a different color, because if I'm ever doing a dramatic lip look I think it'll be really helpful for that. Like any lip stain it emphasizes texture if you're not careful. However even if you don't exfoliate your lips beforehand, it isn't really a problem if you just put on one coat. For one coat I found it to be really natural and I can usually just throw it on without worrying about it making my lips crusty. If you're using several coats the finish is a LOT more vibrant and it's definitely a lot more drying and will really emphasize texture. I really liked that it has some significant work time before it sets. Depending on how dry my lips were I got up to a minute of time to blend it. However be aware that, once it sets, it is not going to come off completely even if you use makeup remover and a microfiber rag. In the pictures I only applied it to my bottom lip so you can see the color.

I love this lip stain! This is actually the first time I have ever used a lip stain and am definitely a fan. The color is lovely, it is definitely there but not too intense, nor too muted… just right (for me). No weird smells or anything like that and it lasted quite a long time once applied!

This is seriously one of the best lip stains I have tried. It is not drying at all and imparts a subtle but pretty looking color in the lips. It works amazing with other lip products like gloss and balm. It also lasts for a good for hours and is super easy to reapply on the go. It looks like a little marker which is cute lol
