Start with hair that is completely dried & detangled before using Le Clip XL. When plugged in, the display will flash "OFF" until the "ON" button is pressed and held. Using the "+" or "-" button, adjust temperature in 10° increments. Temperature will flash until it is reached. Prior to styling, apply your L'ange heat protectant of choice. Next, hold the curling iron vertically with the clamp facing forward. Insert the hair near the root or base of the scalp, then gently clamp down and begin rotating the iron away from your face. Continue rotating through the mid-lengths to ends, guiding the hair around the barrel as you go. Hold for 5 - 10 seconds and then release hair, letting the curl slide out from around the iron. Allow the curl to cool in the palm of your hand. Repeat all over until the desired style is achieved. Use your favorite L'ange hairspray to lock in your look. Once finished, press and hold the "ON" button for 3 seconds to turn OFF the tool. The display will stop showing the temperature and begin flashing "OFF." Unplug Le Clip XL and wait until completely cooled before storing away.
