Be aware of the refill - do not buy
Product is great but refill pack is horrible. I inserted it based on instructions, but the cream stopped coming out of the jar after may be 10 days using it. Absolutely unusable at this point, I had to take the lid out and still can't use the cream because the refill thing is stuck in the jar. Ugh f...

Thick, Repairing, and ultra nourishing
gifted by drunkelephant The Lala Retro Nourishing Whipped Refillable Moisturizer by Drunk Elephant is a richer, more deeply nourishing cream compared to their Protini (which I still love). Whenever my skin is stressed from actives, winter dryness, or eczema flare-ups, Lala Retro has honestly been a lifesaver. I've used it during the day, but I love it most as an overnight moisturizer. It seals in moisture, repairs my skin barrier, and I always wake up with plump, hydrated, bouncy skin; never flaky or tight. It's amazing for restoring dull, dry, ashy skin and bringing it back to a healthy glow. Protini is still my go-to under makeup, but Lala Retro has become a non-negotiable nightly staple for that calm, repaired, glass-skin glow.

This honestly arrived at the perfect moment! My skin has been extremely dry, cracked, and uncomfortable lately, and none of my usual moisturizers were really helping but this one completely turned things around. It's incredibly rich and nourishing, and my skin soaked it up instantly. I'd absolutely love to see an eye cream version of it.
