I'm a huge fan of Sol de Janeiro, but this one just didn't wow me. I'm already not the biggest fan of the Cheirosa 68 fragrance (it's definitely nice, I just prefer most other scents from SDJ), but I definitely still like it. This however was a miss for me. Love
I love the smell of it ans it does hydrates my skin. I hust start using it so ill give more time to see more plumbing
Makes my skin feel soft, but...
So, the positive: it feels nice going on my skin, absorbs fairly quickly, leaves my neck feeling super soft all day. The one Con: this smells like a lotion my grandmother (for context, she was born in 1915) would have used circa 1957. The scent is strong and does not dissapate quickly.
HATE the scent! Only half full too.
The cream is definitely thick, I tried it on my neck and chest. I think the formula might be worth it, but god the smell is awful. WAY too sweet and it does not go away - I washed it off and I can still smell it the next day. Ugh. Headache-inducing. Huge disappointment. Also - my product was sealed, but it absolutely was only half full. Can't help but wonder if it was tampered with still somehow or a defective product... or if that's just what they actually fill it to. (?!)
The smell 🤢
At first whe I opened this it smelled ok? Not as strong as their other creams, but kind of a tropical fruity scent. Once I got it worked into my skin it's like the smell reacted and changed and it's so bad. It smells like fruit that's gone off, or that stale funky smell of some gas station soaps? I had to take a second shower to wash it off. Giving 2⭐ because it does feel nice to apply at least.
