I'm curious about the GM lightweight daily moisturizer … I love GM products but a little confused on the product information. So hence the curiosity of whats the truth and what's not . Ulta website says in the details that the lightweight daily moisturizer ingredients are plant based silicone, shea butter , hyaluronic acid and macadamia oil . On the GM website the ingredients are plant based silicone, shea butter , hyaluronic acid and avocado seed oil … So what are the actual ingredients? Can anyone tell me ?

Q
I have oily skin, is it going to make me look oily at the end of the day ?
Asked by Des
Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand Engage
This is such a great question! It is a common misconception that utilizing moisturizer on oily skin will cause the skin to become more oily or greasy. This is actually inaccurate. If you do not moisturize the skin, the skin will then try to overcompensate and produce more oil due to the lack of hydration, so you will actually feel oilier without any moisturizer. When you apply a moisturizer on a daily basis, such as the Good Molecules Lightweight Daily Moisturizer, it will balance out the oil production in your skin and the skin will feel adequately hydrated. You should feel your skin nice and balanced without feeling excessively oily after using this product. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Is The good molecules Lightweight daily moisturizer noncomenogenic?
Asked by Cat1031
Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand Engage
We formulate our products to be non pore clogging. However, we’re hesitant about applying the non-comedogenic label to any of our products since there is no universal and agreed upon guideline. Comedogenic scales often vary depending on the source. Individual skin chemistry can determine the extent of an ingredient ability to clog pores, so it is highly variable between people. As such, the only way to be certain is to actually try out the product. The same ingredient when used in a different concentration or within a different formulation will vary as far as being comedogenic or not.Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Would this moisturizer be considered silicone based or water based? I have it and it's great for my combo skin but I want to figure out how I should pair it with my makeup.
Asked by Juliana
Official Answer By Good Molecules - Brand Engage
While the Lightweight Daily Moisturizer contains a naturally derived silicone alternative as well as avocado oil and shea butter, it is still water based. The product is formulated to help create a smooth, plumped-up canvas for flawless makeup application. Was this answer helpful to you
