Silky, like pearls, and oh so smooth!
This shampoo was my introduction to Cécred, besides the welcoming message on the card that was sent along with my order, and a free sample of conditioner I was gifted with alongside the nourishing hair oil and this hydrating shampoo I settled on getting. I finally decided to buy myself the hair care...

Love the product - hate the packaging
This is a lovely shampoo that produced great results for my curly dry-ish hair. A little goes a very long way. But - the packaging is a nightmare. I couldn't get the plastic seal off the bottle! There was no tab to pull on. It took punching a hole in it and then removing it with pliers! No way could...

Love it! Salon Quality at Home
When this line first dropped, I honestly wasn't interested. Celebrity haircare lines usually feel like a money grab to me. That said, I do love Pattern! But with Pattern, I typically stick to the Treatment Mask and styling products—I didn't think anything could top them. Then I tried Cécred… and wow. This line is amazing! I started with the travel sizes, just to test it out, and now I'm going back for the full-size bottles. My hair felt soft, moisturized, and healthy for days. After a month of consistent use, I even noticed some hair growth—which was a pleasant surprise! My only downside is the price. It's definitely a splurge, and in this economy, saving where you can matters. That's where Pattern still wins—you get more product for your money. I'd say Cécred is like a salon-quality experience at home, while Pattern gives you great value and versatility. To me, Cécred is perfect for the "natural but straight" girlies—silk presses, buns, occasional twists. Pattern, on the other hand, is ideal for naturals who embrace their curls, coils, and textured styles.
What magic is in here?!
Hair Type Straight Hair
High porosity hair & dry ends, the shampoo and conditioner saved me within 2 uses. My ends are well moisturized, my hair is so silky smooth and shiny. What magic is in here!!? Not even Olaplex or Redken helped me before! Will be restocking soon. A little does go a very long way and my hair is down my back. Only flaw is the cap, kind of hard to squeeze product out, but I don't mind removing the cap. 10/10!
Did horrible on my hair
I have healthy hair but wanted to try this. It dried it out so much. I ended up throwing it away.
From skeptic to convert
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
After one wash with the hydrating shampoo, hair and scalp clarifying shampoo and hydrating conditioner my hair was softer and more manageable than with any other products I've tried. A week later my hair was still just as soft. It took a lot for me trust this high-priced celebrity haircare line given Bey 1) was born with what We consider "good" hair and 2) has the world's best stylists on retainer. But this stuff seems to be the real deal. I'm a convert for sure.

Value vs quantity if you have a lot of hair in my opinion the quantity is lacking specially at this price point. The product is overpriced and hyped
