Wow!

Bear with me, this might be long winded. I'm 54 with shoulder length naturally gray, wavy/loose curly hair. I have seborrheic dermatitis that manifests as a waxy film on my scalp and a waxy/gritty film on the skin along my hairline; it causes itch and discomfort. I also have rosacea on both cheeks. ...

Wanted to Love This.

Picked this up because I wanted a new sensitive shampoo. The first time I tried it I had to reread the label, because it cleans like a clarifier. I don't mind shampoos stripping my hair, but I need the conditioner to bring it back. The conditioner felt good going on, but when I rinsed and started to...

Caused small bumps across my forehead

Submitted 6 days ago

By lunala

From DC

Hair Type Straight Hair

I have long thick hair and oily acne prone skin. I was looking for a new shampoo that would limit and not cause breakouts on my face, and this shampoo was not it. I wanted to love it and ended up loving and continue using the conditioner, but anytime I used this shampoo it caused small bumps to breakout across my forehead. While my skin is acne prone, I never get acne on my forehead (always my jaw/cheek). They weren't even pus filled or black heads, just many annoying tiny bumps. Thank goodness I bought the travel size first to test it out. I finished the travel size bottle of the shampoo and once I stopped using it my bumps went away.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Finally!

I used Aveda scalp benefits for over a decade until they changed their formula. I then tried Biolage scalp shampoo and it made me itchy. I used it about a year thinking i was allergic to other things but once I found Seen, I finally have relief. It suds up really well and has increased shine. I have sensitive skin and can be allergic to scents.

It's ok

By Nicknamestfu

I have 2a wavy, partially bleached, medium thickness hair. This shampoo is just ok. Paired with the conditioner it doesn't seem to moisturize my blonde pieces very well and my natural colored hair gets weighed down and greasy quickly… its a bit strange. Definitely still looking for a better product.

allergy to corn ingredients in hair products

Submitted 2 months ago

By Grace

From NY

Hair Type Very Curly Hair

I believe that bisabolol derived from corn. Bisabolol ingredient is in the Seen Shampoo. I tried Seen shampoo and I got skin rash and skin bumps. It is nothing to do with the fragrance free. It is the problem of derived from corn. Derived from corn is in EVERYTHING, in food, all in hair products, and toothpaste. I am allergic to derived from corn. True corn allergy is uncommon, but corn sensitivities (intolerances) are more widespread!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
