Best for Very Thick, Long Hair
I have Very Long- 46", VERY thick hair with a natural wave. Even at the length its at it still has a slight- stubborn wave. Been using this product since I was about 12- just turned 40. I swear by it. Recently tried a different Biolage conditioner & it was a no- go. This is my 4ever ❤. I only wash 2...

Ok
I've used the large jar of this product before and thought it worked great. But this time, the tube was on sale and I'm not sure if it's a different product entirely, but it doesn't work as well. Its very thick, so you really have to work it with your hands before applying to your hair, and then, it...

Very good conditioner.
New formulation
I used the original Biolage back in the 90's and it was my holy grail, and then they changed it in the early 2000's and it was unusable. It was super thick and the smell was very different, very heavy and masculine and it was very cloying, it did not dissipate. I found it drying and sticky, and caused issues for my lungs, so I switched to the Sally's version which worked very well until they changed it a few years ago. Over the years, I've tried the reformulations of this, and I found them to have same issues, but I was desperate and so I gave the most recent reformulation a try, and upon opening it I was thrilled to find it had the original scent (it's SO much better). The formulation is definitely better than it's been over the last 20 years, I still wish they would go back to the original formula because I don't think it needs some of the ingredients this has, but it's a lot closer (the ingredients on the Ulta site is different than the Biolage site/bottle). I am very reactive to conditioners due to allergies/sensitivities, and cetrimonium chloride is the only one I can use (it's not in very many formulas), so I grateful this has it as it's main conditioning agent. I add a lot of water to this, 2 to 3 times because this is very thick and I have a lot of fine hair, and I find it disperses better and is easier to rinse out, but also it's more effective for my hair. I highly recommend trying this if you've not been happy with the formulation from the last 20 years and are looking for a silicone free conditioner.
AMAZING
I used this ONE TIME and my hair already feels better. I will be buying this again
Best Conditioner
I'm 48 with thick per sq" hair. I've been using Biolage Conditioning Balm for over 30yrs. My hair is hip length. Worth every penny
Fixed my hair
This fixed my hair after damage by a perm (!) decades ago, and I still go back to it when my hair is looking dry and has split ends. It softens, smoothes, and hydrates. It has never let me down!
