Hair Type Wavy Hair
So, with hair products, everyone is going to have a different take due to any number of factors, from hair/curl type, to desired outcome, to the local weather and even the hardness of their water. I personally have a loose curl/wave pattern (mostly 2b-2c, maybe 3a if I use mousse and diffuse), I prefer a more "messy" look with light definition, it's fairly humid where I live, and though I'm not entirely sure if our water is hard, I did do a chelating treatment recently that really improved the softness and general texture of my hair. I also use a clarifying shampoo and K18 mask at least once a week All of that said, I really don't like a lot of curly hair routines because they have so many steps and are just kind of time consuming, especially because my scalp tends to get oily and I have wash every other day, maybe third day if I'm lucky, and part of the reason seems to be that some products just leave a lot of buildup. Another review mentioned that this product feels like it leaves buildup on their hair, but for me, that couldn't be further from the truth. And that may be because this product is really meant to be used alone, because when I use it without anything else, I get the perfect amount of curl definition with the least amount of effort AND buildup. When I use heavier products and curl creams, I usually have to double cleanse when I wash my hair to get the product buildup out, and I don't really have to do that when this is the only product I use. So YMMV, but for my lazy girl curl routine, this really did wow me! I initially bought the travel size because I've been duped on social media about hair products and got stuck with salon-sized containers of products I don't really like, but I will be buying the larger size next time!

I watched so many videos of people trying this product out so I was hopeful. It's just meh in my opinion. Not good, not bad, just meh. I can see where it would work for other people but it wasn't for me.

Bottle half empty
I love this product as I have been using it for years, but when I received this bottle it was half empty. Glad I wasted my Ulta points and money on this purchase. I will stick to buying the same product but smaller size from somewhere else.
