I ran out of the old formulation last week and picked up a bottle of the new this weekend. I have been wearing it for a few days now and I'm not impressed. I used to never worry about my makeup throughout the day. Now my face is sticky after a few hours using the same prep I always have. It isn't even close to long lasting and I will be searching for a new foundation for the first time in fifteen years. You have lost a customer.

I had high hopes for this foundation based on the claims, but unfortunately it didn't quite work for me. The coverage is definitely there, it's solidly full coverage and does a good job evening out skin tone and covering redness or blemishes. If you're looking for something that really hides imperfections, this delivers on that front. However, on my combination-oily skin, the formula felt much drier than expected. Even though it advertises hydration and balance, it applied a bit thick, even when working in layers, and started to look cakey especially around my nose and mouth. It also emphasized some texture and pores rather than blurring them the way I hoped. The wear time was decent, and it stayed on longer than many foundations I've tried. That said, it didn't wear evenly. After several hours, it began to break up and look patchy, particularly in the areas where I tend to get oily. Overall, I'd say the coverage and initial finish are nice, but the formula may work better for people with normal or very oily skin who prefer a matte, full-coverage look. For combination skin like mine, it ended up feeling a bit too drying and heavy, and the patchy wear over time kept it from being a favorite. I received this product for free from Estee Lauder for testing and review purposes.

I have been using this product for about 3 weeks and I am very impressed with it . It covers all the imperfections without leaving a cakey feeling on your face . It lasts all day without having to worry about reapplying and extra makeup. It leaves your skin clean not a heavy layer of makeup . I was excited to try this product, but I found that it seemed to sit on my skin a little more than I expected when first applied. I did not feel heavy on my skin though. I does have a very nice, satiny finish to it, and it definitely lasts longer than most products I've used before. Oddly, it seemed to show drier spots at first, but then after time stayed hydrated and didn't seem to dry out my face.
