IT Cosmetics Do It All Sheer Tint Face Balm

Overall: I like the texture, finish and color match. I would give it a 3.5/5 since I personally needed to ensure I do enough extra-hydrating skin prep ahead of time. I was gifted this product by Gloss Angeles Confidential in exchange for my honest review. On first try, this balm noticeably clung to dry patches (though it did not highlight fine lines). Once I prepped my skin with extra hydration, I did like how the product blends without highlighting dryness. The color match is a perfect fit that really does seem to blend and adapt into my natural skin while still evening out redness. I typically applied with (clean!) fingers from the center of my face and worked outward. While this balm does not moisturize enough on its own for me, I didn't notice my face feeling dry or tight throughout the day. I needed an occasional touch up just because I have a bad subconscious habit of touching my face, but touch ups blended smoothly with product applied earlier in the day. Basically, it stays "flexible" on my face but isn't sliding around, which is great!

I received this product to test via Gloss Angeles to test and was very excited to start using it as I usually use a different brand's skincare-containing complexion product. Fair Neutral was a perfect match for my hard-to-match skin (so many brands miss us neutral toned super fair skinned folks) which I definitely appreciate. I applied it with a BK beauty foundation brush and fell in love with the slight cooling sensation, your-skin-but-better light coverage, and natural finish. Unfortunately, my love for the product was short lived as I could not get it to stay put or "set" for the life of me even with trying different primers, powder, and setting spray, product movement and transfer started happening after about 2 hours of wear. I tend to run oily but don't often run into this problem anymore. It's really a shame because I loved everything else about it. If a longer-lasting vetsion was released I would buy it in a heartbeat.

I received this to test through Gloss Angeles Confidential. I love this product! I tend to prefer light coverage and this gives me the perfect amount of coverage while still looking natural. The texture is so unique and fun. I love how flexible the shades are. I'm terrible at shade matching myself but that's not a problem with how flexible these shades are. Both 110 and 125 worked for me. My face always looked so good whenever I wore this. I didn't see any noticeable difference from the skincare ingredients included in this product but that isn't important to me in a complexion product so that's fine. I'll definitely be repurchasing this when I run out.

I recently had a laser treatment done and it helped clear up a lot of my dark spots that I was using a medium or full foundation to cover. I was looking for something that would be lighter and just help with overall color evening. I was so happy when I was able to try Do it all sheer tint face balm from It Cosmetics. I already use a lot of It cosmetics products and love the CC cream. This balm was a perfect transition for a sheet coverage product. It helps for my fine lines to be minimized and to smooth out my skin tone. I also really like that it has skin care ingredients as well, so my skin is also hydrated while improving my overall look. It was easy to apply with a brush and was buildable if I need more coverage in areas. I would use more of a flat brush to apply onto my face and get the amount over coverage I wanted. Then I would blend out with a larger lighter brush, and my final look was very natural. If I was particularly red in an area or had a pimple, I would apply a bit of concealer just in that area but overall, I think it gives good coverage for a uniform look. To preface, I received this product as a gift from Gloss Angeles Confidential. It's not something I would typically purchase on my own, but I was genuinely blown away by it. The balm offers impressive coverage and is highly buildable—much more so than the average tinted moisturizer. I received so many compliments on my skin, with people telling me it looked smooth, flawless, and perfected. What really surprised me was that I didn't notice a dramatic difference myself at first, yet the compliments kept coming. Because of that alone, I absolutely recommend giving this product a try.
