I love the mousse but the smell is god awful. Please, please make it unscented of just change the scent all together. It stinks when you put it on and my god if you go swimming the stench is awful.

worst curl product i've ever bought
I bought this with my Christmas money and was very disappointed. I've heard so many good things about not your mothers and I use their curl gel. I have zero complaints about their curl gel, so I thought that I would go ahead and pair it with the moose. I don't use a crazy amount. I used the same amount that I would use with Aussie or Shea moisture or any other moose that I've ever used before. I used it the first time on a wash day. And my hair after blow drying was so oily from this product and so wighed down. That it looked wet. I had to immediately rewash my hair and style it without moose it was flat no volume and so much grease that it looked wet. It felt wet. It was disgusting. I really wanted to like this product, but after I used it and talked about it with my friends. I've also realize that anybody who should try this product has have similar results in the curly hair community not your mother is very much a big name brand so I felt the need to come on here and let everybody know that even though I use their gel, I do not recommend their moose.

Wouldn't call it "soft hold"
It's okay, I guess, but not my favorite. Personally, I prioritize softness and volume over definition when it comes to my hair. I have 2B wavy/curly hair, and I like to be able to run my fingers through it. This mousse brings out my curls, but I wouldn't call it "soft hold." It's more like a medium hold, and it does leave a crunchy cast. The cast can be scrunched out, but it's hard to do so without causing frizz. It also leaves a sort of oily residue on the ends? I will say, the volume is pretty great. My day 1 hair is big and bouncy. Day 2, I look like a frizzy mess.
Weak Hold But Good When Paired with Gel

Very lightweight & weak hold. I have low porosity, 2B/2C waves, and I've found that when I only use this product with curl cream, I get very little definition/hold. However, when used with a strong gel and thick curl cream, my results are amazing.

Hi there! I've been using NYM Curl talk activation Mousse and the NYM curl talk sculpting gel for a few weeks now, but only for certain occasions I want to make my hair more defined, however I do wish to be able to use this hairstyle on a daily basis, however I have noticed some people don't use it everyday.
