After shampooing and rinsing, wring the hair of excess water. Part the hair into four sections and secure each section with a hair clip. Start with one section and massage the mask into the hair from root to tip. Use a wide tooth comb to distribute the mask evenly and detangle with added slip. After the fourth section is complete, leave the mask in for at least 10 minutes before rinsing. For enhanced curl definition, style with Curl Charisma Leave-In Defining Crème, Coil Custard, and/or Frizz Control Gel.

Hair Type Wavy Hair
I am extremely disappointed with both this product and Briogeo's customer service. The Curl Charisma mask I purchased was so firm that it broke apart in chunks when I tried to remove it from the jar. Instead of having a creamy, spreadable consistency, it was very difficult to distribute through my hair, making it unpleasant and impractical to use. When I contacted Briogeo, I provided photos, lot numbers, UPC information, and spent considerable time going through their review process. After having their Product Development team review the product, I was told that the texture was normal due to a reformulation and that the product was safe to use. Despite acknowledging my concerns and requiring extensive documentation from me, no replacement, refund, or goodwill resolution was offered. Unfortunately, this is not my first disappointing experience with Briogeo. In the past, I purchased one of their shampoos that had the opposite problem—it was so watery that it would run through my fingers before I could even apply it properly. Between inconsistent product textures and the lack of meaningful customer support when issues arise, I have lost confidence in the brand. There are too many excellent haircare brands on the market to spend this much money on products that are inconsistent and a company that does not stand behind them. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Briogeo and will not be purchasing their products again.

I reeeeally like this mask, unfortunately i had an allergic reaction to something in it BUT its more soft and managable than its EVER been and my curls looked so good. Very sad i cant keep using it its so good!
Good PROTEIN Mask
Okay, yes it has some moisture stuff, but the rice amino acid is very high in the list. *It is not for moisture*. The green avocado mask they sell would be perfect for that. This one is protein and strengthening. Everyone's saying they had breakage or dried hair or frizz. Besides that, it melted into my curls and they were POPPING. I love this stuff, unfortunately the price is expensive. I would only buy it on sale or with points.

If your hair is generally healthy and just needs moisture do not get this mask. I am trying to embrace my natural curls and i was told by an employee that has curly hair that this mask is amazing. Ive tried it three times and my hair does not need the protien so it ended up snapping and thining so bad. I had to get two inches taken off to just brush through my hair again. Make sure you need protien before using this
