I am 74 years old and my hair is dry and wavy. It tends to poof up after washing unless weighted down with products. This mask gave my hair enough weight to hold it as well as soften it. I plan to purchase it regularly since with it, I use less other conditioners. I've been an Olaplex lady for a good while now and I love their products.

I have natural gray hair with Irish curls (some straight, some curly) and experience lots of frizz, especially on humid days. I only wash my hair twice a week, and it requires a lot of moisture due to its coarseness and fragility. This past year, stress, surgery, and neglecting my routine really took a toll on my hair. I won't make that mistake again. I even had to cut off over 4 inches due to a terrible product (costing over $70) that was supposed to help with dryness and bonding but instead broke my waist-length hair. I've returned to my Olaplex routine, using #3 on one wash day and the Rich Hydration Mask on the next wash day. I always condition after each of these, it helps to seal in the masking power it has, and you have to with #3 anyway. I also apply #7 oil to my mid-lengths and ends every night, along with using a silk scrunchie. I've always been a fan of #6 and #7 together. After three weeks, my hair has transformed for the better—it's soft, shiny, manageable, and has minimal frizz, even in Michigan's late fall and winter humidity. My only wish is that Olaplex would create a more moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for those of us who need constant moisture. The current 4&5 actually dry my hair out worse than straw, so I use another brand for those products. I just think using the mask daily in the shower is not a cost effective measure?
