Caustic horrible feeling on first use

Just NO. If you're on the fence about getting this product, my advice is to pass. I just used this shampoo for the first time today. I have sensitive skin and tend to itch easily. When I massaged it into my scalp, I immediately noticed an itchy sensation and it felt very acidic. This happened so fast it was scary. I spent the next 20 minutes rinsing my hair thoroughly and washing it twice with my old shampoo. I am baffled there aren't more people reporting the same irritation.

My scalp is so sensitive to all shampoo's. I have worked my way through everything on the shelf. I went and got a haircut and I was recommended this. I would recommend it to anybody else that has a hard time with shampoo like I do.
fantastic truly clean product
the first time I used it I did have to wash my hair twice which I'm guessing was leftovers from products I used before I went fragrance free. But now, it's really gentle on my fine kinda dry hair and gives lots of volume by stripping my oil but not too much.

Clear scent free shampoo with the consistency of gel. Gentle foam removes dirt as well as any smells/perfumes out of your hair without stripping your hair. The magic happens when you rinse. The foam transforms into a silky smooth liquid reminding me of cream rinse. I was able to easily run my fingers through my nappy hair prepping it for the Clear scent free conditioner while quickly rinsing out the shampoo. Although I followed the shampoo with conditioner, my hair actually felt as if it didn't need conditioner. Clean and silky. Tip: If the shampoo and conditioner bottles are identical, I mark the top of the shampoo lid with a magic marker or a piece of tape.
I have coily hair...it works for me
Hair Type Very Curly Hair
This shampoo is amazing! It lathers beautifully and gives such a rich sudsy cleanse without stripping my hair. My coils felt soft, clean, and super refreshed after just one wash. It's hard to find something that works this well on textured hair, but this one truly delivered. Highly recommend!
