Is this a gluten free product?
- Asked by DizzyLizzy
- Official Answer By Odele Beauty - Brand EngageOur products do not contain gluten. But read on, because if you're asking this question, there's more you should know. *cue ‘90's music from NBC* We don't actively market our products as gluten-free, primarily because we believe this can be confusing. There are a number of myths surrounding the impact of gluten in personal care vs. food. According to the Mayo Clinic, shampoos and conditioners that contain gluten would need to be swallowed or come into contact with an open wound for someone with Celiac disease to react. This is even true for different types of dermatitis that can arise from Celiac, but still it is required that the gluten be ingested vs. topically applied (with the exception of things like lipstick where you'd easily ingest product or application on or near a wound). So if you're gluten-intolerant or have Celiac disease, it's worth talking to your allergist or doctor about your personal care needs. You may not be as limited as you think! Was this answer helpful to you

Not sure about this shampoo
First the pros: I liked the simple packaging, the vegan ingredients, and the subtle natural fragrance. I dislike strong perfumes, so appreciated that this is light and inoffensive. The reason I tried a clarifying shampoo is because my stylist thought I might have product buildup. I used this shampo...

Not for fine, naturally wavy, oily hair
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I have given this clarifying shampoo three tries. I have fine, naturally wavy, oily hair. After washing, the comb runs through my hair as though I have used conditioner. And my waves/loose curls comb out leaving my hair straight as a stick. After a day, my hair has a dirty, heavy feel. This shampoo is no good for hair like mine.
Don't buy unless you want dandruff
My scalp is so itchy. I look like someone shook a salt shaker on top of my head. DO NOT BUY!!!
made my hair fall out
Hair Type Straight Hair
i have very oily straight fine hair so i thought this shampoo would be good. it took me 2 months of use to realize this was making my hair fall out. there was hair all over my apartment. switched to a korean shampoo and noticed less hair fall.
The name fits what it does
Hair Type Wavy Hair
This shampoo fights product build up great. If you need a deep clean, it does the job.
Stinks
Hair Type Straight Hair
The "fragrance" is all natural. I'd rather have a manmade fragrance than this stink. It's horrible. The shampoo did a decent job of clarifying my hair without stipping it of moisture. But the smell is a no-go for me. I don't recommend it unless you want to stink.
