Loved this clarifying shampoo. It really helped with my sun drenched hair and dry scalp. It removed the residue from the pool and helped to restore moisture to my hair and scalp.
Highly irritating ingredients

The third ingredient-- Cocamidopropyl Betaine-- is a KNOWN irritant and allergen. The OLD formulation did NOT have this ingredient. The new version of this caused severe blepharitis (eyelid swelling and dermatitis) as well as severe eczema on my hands. I needed prescription steriod cream for both areas. Never again. All of these companies went "cheap" with their ingredients during the Covid supply chain crisis, and when that ended, they continued using the cheapo ingredients--while raising prices. Good riddence.
Works Without Stripping Natural Oils

I tend to alternate my shampoos throughout the week and I tend to use this clarifying shampoo the most. I have oily fine hair which can become flat and limp. This shampoo cleans my scalp without drying it out. It lathers but rinses thoroughly. I really like the light lemon scent which I can barely smell after showering. I wouldn't recommend using this everyday because it will cause the scalp and hair to dry out. Great price for the size.
