The "fragrance" is all natural. I'd rather have a manmade fragrance than this stink. It's horrible. The shampoo did a decent job of clarifying my hair without stipping it of moisture. But the smell is a no-go for me. I don't recommend it unless you want to stink.
Used to be great until a formula change
Ive purchased this brand several times since spring 2025 and was having incredible hair days but recently my wash day will not last longer than 12 hours. I wake up and take off a satin bonnet and my hair looks like trash, its frizzy, dry, and oily at the same time? It unfortunately seems like others have the same issue.
Terrible Shampoo
This shampoo did not clean my hair at all. My hair is more dirty after I use this! I have wavy hair, and this leaves a residue on top of my not cleaned hair making it stringy and gross. I would rather use bar soap on my hair than this, it would work better! The scent is kinda strange and doesn't mix well with the mousse I use. My hair ends up smelling like a dirty wet dog. I used the travel size of this and I'm glad I didn't have a big bottle to go through.
