- Section hair and take a 2-inch section.
- At the root, press to open iron with cool tip facing upwards and wrap hair.
- Rotate iron one full turn so the hair is wrapped around fully.
- Glide down the hair 2 inch and unwind hair.
- Repeat technique.
- Continue until all the hair has been styled, always styling away from the face.

I've never actually used a curling iron but this made the process so easy and even as a beginner it came out so nice! I would have curled my whole head in under 30 minutes but I didn't realize it has a auto cooling feature after about 20 mins so you'll need to turn it off and turn it back on or you'll lose heat.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Maybe it's because I haven't purchased a new curling iron in years, but this one from ghd is incredible. The first thing I noticed was how quickly it heated up, and I mean like within seconds you can feel the warmth on the barrel. I didn't experience any tugging or snagging with hair strands. I'm sure leaving the barrel on longer would create tighter curls, but I personally prefer a more effortless, wavy look. The barrel itself is lightweight, and made it easy to move around my hand without feeling strain in my wrist. I also noticed no frizz with my curls. The ceramic barrel is another big plus because there wasn't any unpleasant smells that I've gotten in the past with other irons.
Beautiful curls with some hiccups along the way though
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I am a recent graduate of makeup school and within that, I also completed a hair styling course where I brought my curling iron with me to use as part of my kit. I ended up using it for personal use and loving it for my own hair. My curls last and gives me a beautiful finish. For clients, however, I felt like the temperature was too high and I wish I could adjust it. Sometimes also even if you're using it correctly, it will leave dents in your hair because of that high temperature. I also wish it would glide better on the hair, it can tug on it and pull little hairs that get caught in the barrel.
