- Section hair and take a 2-inch section.
- At the root, press to open iron with cool tip facing upwards and wrap hair.
- Rotate iron one full turn so the hair is wrapped around fully.
- Glide down the hair 2 inch and unwind hair.
- Repeat technique.
- Continue until all the hair has been styled, always styling away from the face.

I've been using the ghd Chronos Curve Grand Iron for a while, and it heats up fast and keeps the temperature very even. It creates smooth, soft curls without damaging my hair, and the results last much longer than with my previous curlers. [I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have thick, naturally wavy hair. This curling iron can handle it and smooth it into big curls or a sleek but voluminous style that mimics a good blowout. I am very happy with the results. It heats up incredibly fast and the cord spins freely where it meets the tool, so it never gets tangled up. My only complaint is that the tip and the paddle you press are heat resistant only at the very ends, so if your fingers move up too far, they can get burnt. The package does include a heatproof glove, but the additional step is a little frustrating. It would be nicer if the parts of the tool that you touch were better insulated instead.
