Use an eye primer to like e.l.f.'s Lock It Down Eyeshadow Primer (sold separately) to prep your eyelids for application.
Apply powder eyeshadow to each lid using an eyeshadow brush.

Good for price but not for anyone with mature skin
These are super cute, great for a small travel kit, and good for the price. I found the metallics to really be super pigmented and beautiful, but the mattes were very shear. You might be able to build the mattes, but it would take quite a bit of effort. I did not think any of the colors were very be...

Lovely cool tones
I like this as an eye shadow and I use the matte brown to cover grey hairs in my hairline!
Great little palette
I wanted to find a gray eyeshadow to create a smokey look and was surprised how hard it was to find the color I wanted. I bought the Total Smokeshow palette and it's perfect! I have several palettes with nudes and rosy hues, which I love but I wanted something a little different. The price is unbelievable and you could probably buy every one and still pay less than a prestige brand. I can't speak the longevity or wearability yet but since I probably won't wear it a lot I don't mind if it doesn't last. I think the colors picked up nice and blended reasonably well considering it is a lower end palette. I think it's more than worth the price.
Best eyeshadow for the price
You can't beat this little eyeshadow palette for the price. The colors are great and it doesn't irritate my skin

I love this mini palette so much the colors and pigment are perfect however after just a few uses one of the shades completely broke & de-panned itself in my makeup bag :(
