Most Helpful Positive Review nice, thin liquid, easy to apply
I've been testing out sun protection products recently (mineral formulas only) and out of the few I've tried (Juice Beauty Oil Free SPF 30, Juice Beauty Stem CEllular CC w SPF, Stila BB SPF 30), I favor this one.
I don't like thick products that are hard to spread all over my face and this one isn't. It is thin and blends well and is easy to get your hole face covered to get adequate sun protection.
The tint is barely noticable once applied, but does give very minor color correction. Not as much as a tinted moisturizer would though. The color works for me and I'm fair.
I dont notice much of a smell with this product.
I was looking for a better rating on EWG Skin Deep's website, but for a mineral sunscreen that I like I suppose this will do.
There is one other product I did like when I tested in the store, but was too expensive to end up purchasing... Perricone MD Photo Plasma SPF 30. This felt so lightweight on my hand when I applied. If it weren't for the hefty price tag i would have liked to try it. There wasn't an EWG rating for it either, which concerned me.
Most Helpful Critical Review Wanted to love it, but not for me.
I really really wanted to like this product because I was looking for a new sunscreen to wear under my makeup. I read reviews saying that this does not leave a white cast, and also that it is mineral. It doesn't make it white, it does have a slight tint--kind of like the sheerest tinted moisturizer you could wear. That's fine, because I wear foundation over it. The smell is unpleasant, but I'm also sensitive to fragrances. It's very liquid-y, not thick at all and goes on well and sinks in. It's definitely NOT a matte finish on my combo skin. Weird smell aside, this just isn't working for me because I find it's really irritating to my sensitive skin--it stings whenever I apply it. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't have sensitive skin and doesn't mind products with strange smells.

Expensive but it's worth it👍👍I am happy😇🙏🏻
"tinted and "nonwhitening" are lies
sunskincare from San Jose
I got the tinted ultra light version and it was anything but tinted and ultra light. I am fairly tan and the tinted version still left a white cast on my face. This is the third sunscreen I've bought from this brand that leaves a white cast. On top of that it's heavy and doesn't blend in well. It just kinda sits on your skin and transfers to other things. Not worth the money at all.
The holy grail

I use it as a tinted moisturizer. This applies so flawlessly. You can build up. Gives a beautiful glow.
So far so good!

I have sensitive skin and so far (2weeks) have had no reaction. It has a nice tint so you can skip the foundation too!

Yeah, you read the title right. I shook it and it came out of the bottle orange. Thought maybe it would still look decent, smoothed it on. It was not decent. I don't know if mine has oxidized or what but I will be returning it.

Please note that this mineral sunscreen has Titanium Dioxide only. No Zinc Oxide. You will only get partial UVA protection, not from long wave UVAs. This product is too expensive to not fully protect.

"Non-whitening"? I disagree. It is fine otherwise, but I bought it specifically because of that non-whitening claim, which it didn't deliver.
Amazing tinted sunscreen
Laci from Missouri
This sunscreen dries down so nice. It has a matte finish which is great for blurring larger pores. My skin tone is light-medium with olive undertone and the tint matched great.
I absolutely love this!

I absolutely love this! I have tried all the big names in tinted sunscreen and this one does not get enough love. It's a serum-like formula with the perfect tint and leaves no cast whatsoever. It is great by itself or under any makeup I have used. My holy grail tinted sunscreen, hands-down
Don't walk, run
Skin care junky from Indiana
I was skeptical since I have never used a tinted sunscreen and it is a little pricier than other brands but it was a great decision! It actually covers very well but does not leave a white cast or greasy feeling. Ive found that if you apply it with a brush vs your hands or beauty blender it feels and looks better. I will def be buying more of this I love this brand!
As someone who burns

As someone who burns easily, this sunscreen is such a life saver. The packaging is nice and it is easy to use, and the tint is nice when you don't want to wear makeup.

I really really wanted
meagamillion from undisclosed
I really really wanted to like this because it's mineral and tinted but it is waaaay too dark for me. It made me look like I had a really bad tan. To be fair, I am really pale so I think this would be good for light/medium tone, not pasty
Sensitive Combo Skin Review
Claire from Ulta
Applied once moisturizer has dried (no oils) Bottom line: this transfers. Brush hair out of your face, turn your head against your collar, blow your nose - touch your face at all & it's gone, never sets down. Pros: the blurring coverage is amazing. It only reveals itself once you have stopped trying to rub it in (you can't build coverage). As far as I can tell, it provides great protection where undisturbed, but because it lifts, you also can't layer makeup over it. The shade is unsuitable for fair skin- best for light-medium skin tones. For the price & the hassle, wouldn't recommend.

Love this sunscreen! The tint fits my skin perfectly! I use this product as a foundation and then add my concealer on top. Love the formula and the product itself! Will definitely be buying again once this one is finished!La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Tinted Sunscreen for Face SPF 50
A terrible accident
Allie from Orange County, CA
I bought this on accident thinking it was the tinted one and I decided to try it on anyway because hey maybe i'd like this one but NOOOO god no, if you have ANY sort of color to ur face you will look like caper the ghost! and even worse it made my face have this horrible purple tint to it ??? it looks terrible, tho I will say it does absorb nicely after applying and has a nice glow I guess but I can not stand the way the color looks, maybe if you have a super pale face (and i thought my face was pale but this made it horribly white & purple) this mighttt work for you idk, it also has a slight sunscreen smell which isn't the worst but keep that in mind, i just think for the price this should've been A LOT better! I will be returning this one to try the tinted version and see how that goes.
Tiffy from Socal
I bought this though it would be great, as I do not have acne prone skin. other than the few whiteheads I'm always clear. This makes me break out every time I use it, clogs my pores.. now I have an expensive hand cream.

NOT FOR POC!
pastaramen from socal
it states non-whitening but since I am tan it leaves a white overcast on skin and makes my face look more dull and even purple. will return for a new face sunscreen.

This was recommended by my dermatologist years age and I have used it every day since... My grandchildren have extremely sensitive skin and the sunscreen for Kids is all they can use. I've also introduced my family and friends to the products as well....
Best Sunscreen for Face
Jeremy from Greer, SC
This product is amazing! I was hesitant to use a tinted moisturizer as a guy, but you honestly can't tell it's on (well, it does even out your tone). It's not oily/greasy and absorbs quickly. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a physical sunscreen.
