I've tried using different quantities and varied the amount I rub it in, but have been unable to use this sunscreen without whitecast. Sadly I missed the return window and am stuck with it.

Like so many others, I use the previous version for its high zinc oxide percentage and for sensitive skin. I wore it daily, no need for makeup. This version is a huge downgrade.

Sunscreen is the single most important beauty product we can use. My skin tyope is very sensitive (including to sun) and combination. I burn easily, medium fair skin. The good: if you shake well, product goes on easily no grit. Does leave slight white cast (am medium pale) but within a half hour or so I am not noticing that, I have pink undertones and it looks like Im not wearing any product. Texture is lotion with some body and is easy to put on. Ive gone through almost 1 bottle and I feel it has actually improved my skin. It feels soothing on, although as others said, I do feel it on. I don't wear foundation ever because it feels the same way. But this isn't irritating can just tell Im wearing it. Having said that, I have not ever re-applied it because i cannot imagine wearing 2 or more layers of this on my face. The ingredients are good but I have combination sk8n, used to be very oily, so I almost did not purchase because I thought I saw sunflower oil in ingredient list. Now online the only oil I see is Tamanu oil. Can anyone advise if there is another oil? The negative for me is that it does feel quite oily on my skin, and it is making my skin oilier, less like combination skin and more like oily skin. However has not broken skin out, feels soothing not irritating. BUT the increased oiliness means if it hot outside, this sunscreen melts into my eyes and makes them irritated. (Another reason why I cannot imagine a 2nd layer). It also makes my entire face oily and I have bangs, so it makes my hair oily in a way I cannot remember having happen since high school 😅 Am almost out of this product and trying to decide if I will repurchase. It does leave a nice pearlized glow but very subtle, just makes skin look nice. Ive gone through at least half a dozen sunscreens looking for something that does not irritate my very sensitive skin and this is the best Ive found so far. The con for me is the oil in the product that makes my skin oily. Ive had to rub forehead with a towel. And for my skin, reapplying sounds not a possible thing as Im already apparently not absorbing it all as the oil sits on skin. (It could be way worse, some ive tried both irritated skin and broke it out plus super oily). And it does seem to have improved health of my skin. I avoid moisturizers and use serums because skin is combination and oils often break me out, so at some level this product seems to be giving skin some needed moisture. Just not sure I can cope with the oiliness for another bottle. Would be nice for winter probably.

This mineral sunscreen went on flawlessly, great, and was absorbed wonderfully. This definitely protected my skin and didn't leave a horrible smell. I would recommend to anyone that prefers mineral sunscreens.

I bought the last version of this for 20 years. I begged for a restock because I used it daily. It used to be 20% zinc, now only 10%. Greasy and doesn't last. Face/neck/chest are burnt from work.
