It's okay
I have oily/acne prone skin. I haven't noticed any breakouts, but I feel like this does the opposite of mattefying. It leaves a nice glow in the morning when you first apply it, but then throughout the day I notice my skin getting oily. I feel like I have to blot my face or reapply powder. It's a very nice moisturizer, but not for mattifying skin.
Buy with caution
I combination oily skin. I love the body lotion from this brand. This product was new to the market and no reviews here when I purchased. I decided to try it. It moisturizes & mattes really well. But it also has been the cause of my breakouts along my jawline & around my mouth. Had clear skin prior to using this product.
Pills and broke me out
This product sheds off my face like im peeling a sunburn all day long and i believe it is causing my near constant breakouts since starting to use it. I have combination skin that leans towards oily so i prefer a matte finish, and the product is very matte, it just does not seem to aborb into my skin well. I will be returning the second bottle i purchased before i realized this product was the culprit
Pills horribly
I have oily skin, and this product didn't work for me. Whether I'm wearing makeup or not, it pills horribly near my hairline. It's so thick that it leaves a noticeable white cast if not blended thoroughly. The formula of the original version is much more elegant.
Oily and Combo Mature Skin Approved
I received a sample of this from my dermatologist. My first use I knew I was going to love this. It felt hydrating when I put it on. I let it absorb into the skin and then followed up with my make up. It made my make up last all day without the crazy shine that happens around my nose, forehead, and cheek area. Most oil control motorist oysters, make your face feel very dry, but not this one this actually hydrated my skin, but yet controlled the oil on my troubled areas. It allows my tinted moisturizer and other Dewey makeup to look Dewey and not oily I am such a fan of this product. I will be purchasing over and over. For reference, I am 45 with oily combination skin. My routine is cleanser, toner, serums, moisturizer Troublr areas: fine lines and pores around the nose.
