- Q
Can I use this serum after using a salicylic acid cleanser?
- Asked by Mel
- Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand EngageHi there! Unfortunately, it is difficult for us to comment on the pairing of our products with those of other brands and/or prescription medications. We recommend consulting with your doctor/dermatologist, gradually incorporating one new product into your regimen at a time, and applying test patches first to see what works best for your skin. Was this answer helpful to you

This stuff has saved my skin
I was suffering from bad hormonal acne on my chin. I went to a dermatologist and she put me on antibiotics for three months and prescribed very agressive creams. I tried it for three months but my acne got worse. I still had the Azelaic Acid Suspension laying around and decided to give it a go, in o...

Received oxidized serum
This was my first time ordering and sadly I received an already oxidized serum which is supposed to be unoppened, most probably it's a batch that is expired as the website states unoppened products have 3 years shelf life. I will seek to return this product and hope there won't be much hassle in t...

Horrible Smell
Have used the original formula and loved it. Recently got a bottle of the new formula and today it smelled extremely strong of onions. Will not purchase again.
Worth the try!
I'm 34 & I have had severe acne for most of my youth and early adulthood. I got it under control using other TO products, but about 5 months ago, my adult acne came back with a vengeance & have not been able to get it under control. I felt like a tren again trying, re-trying products to be disappointed. I have used this once before but more for hyperpigmentation & since my acne has been leaving me with marks, I decided to try this again to help with that at least, even if i couldnt get the acne under control. AND MY GOD, this has calmed my acne down dramatically!!! I have only ised it twice, but the relief of my acne calming down a little has made me have hope. I'm going to continue using this & hope little by little it calms it down, but as of now i am elated & relieved!!! Again, doesn't hurt to try if you have felt a little helpeless, this might help you too.
I swear by this product!!
I love this stuff. I've been using it for about a year and half and the first week it made my skin burn a little bit but after using it for a while my rosacea has calmed down a ton! I definitely recommend!
not for me
not expensive so that's a plus. Not a large amount. Has a cream texture with no smell. Works into the skin fine but turns in to a silky finish on the skin. Very matte with out being dry. Although I don't like using it with other products even moisturizers. I feel like it takes the product off. Very irritating to skin under chin and neck. Itchy. No noticeable results. Very irritating and drying. Pills up like exfoliates skin
Azelaic Acid for Roscea
This took the red out of my Roscra making it a lot less noticeable.
