Most Helpful Positive Review SO GOOD! Great for course THICK hair!
This will give you a SILK PRESS finnish in no time!! I love it! Its heavy but performs effortlessly without hand aches from squeezing. I barley have to do anything. IT HAS A LOCK SWITCH!
I have long, think, curly, strong, course biracial hair (Like the movie Brave) and this iron straightens it in 1 pass. I use Redken Diamomd oil and Alterna heat spray (blue bottle not Bamboo) for heat protectant as well.
This iron is HEAVY DUTY, built to last and feels very PRO.
VERY long cord.
wide plates that are rounded on the edge, so it makes tight curls, beautifully, for my pinup style.
Ladies... I never leave reviews but this thing has seriously changed me. I would dread washing my hair knowing that i had to flat iron afterward. Thia makes me happy to do my hair ans cut the time by half.
Best money ive spent at ULTA
Most Helpful Critical Review DO NOT BUY
I bought this and used it with no issues for 6 months. Then last week it FRIED my hair. My long hair is DONE and still, after washing, smells burnt. Then when I went to turn it back on to try it on a lower setting, it wouldn't heat up. I think the heating coil got overly hot the last time I did my hair, fried it, then burned itself out.

Worked well with my way hair.
I now only need one tool!
Carol from DuPont, WA
This is a great tool. Instead of having a flat iron and 2 different sizes of curling irons on my counter, I now only need this one. I have never been a fan of using a flat iron for curling because I don't like the results/shape on my fine, thin, shoulder length hair, but this iron does the trick. I used this video by Dominique Sachse in making my decision to purchase. https://youtu.be/ii0HJjmfFU8 Also! For those that have complained about design issues related to accidentally locking the iron or pushing the temp buttons.....user error! There is nothing in the directions about this. Make sure your thumb is on the black pad, not the locking button, by flipping the iron over. Problem solved. I took my iron with me to my hair appt and my stylist helped me figure out my mistake.
It's a no for me dawg

I really wanted to like this straightener since I have a Babyliss curling iron and it's fantastic. The straightener was pulling my hair out and a large mass of hair was left in my sink after I was done straightening half of my head. I returned it the next day.
Not worth the price by a long shot
AmandaV from Rancho cordova
I didn't like this flat iron. It's overpriced for no reason it's nothing special
Amazing product! Glides right through your hair!
Misty from Myrtle Beach
I am in love with this straightener! Lightweight and glides through your hair. I have a short bob and wasn't sure how I'd like it but after using it this week I will never own another.

I received this flat iron as a gift and when I plugged it in it would not heat up. The temp was so low I could hold the barrel in my bare hand and hardly feel heat. I exchanged andthe new one heats up fast. I love that its easy to curl or straighten in one but I will say it does pull the hair a tad bit. Overall, I do like the iron but not sure I myself would pay the cost for it.
Trade-ins really nice but curls even better I love it!

Very easy to use best gift ever!
Worst design ever invented!!!!
Thickhairedgirl from Los Angeles
Nothing is great about this product! I don't even know how this design even passed QC! The handle is way too thick for my hand I can't even straighten and curl my hair at the same time. My hair kept coming out of the flat iron every time I tried to close it because the lock button is so close to my thumb it released the lock every time I would try to curl my hair. This flat iron is terrible! Don't waste your money!
Excellent Product & Warranty!
clm from Denver, CO
Styling works well for my hair type. This is the same exact 1-1/4" model my stylist has used on my hair. The most impressive thing about the product was that even though I no longer had my receipt, BaByliss warrantied my failing iron (power button stopped working) by using the date code stamped into the power prong! The warranty approval process was quick although covid made the actual shipment replacement about a month.

I was really excited when my fiancé was happy to buy me this expensive straightener. I had high expectations for it, i actually didn't want to spend more than $100 but i figured if u want something good its going to cost.
First let's start with the product it's self, the cord is very thin, these types of cords are NOT durable, I've never had a straightener with a cheap cord, any good appliance will have a thick durable cord to assure lifetime use.
Second, this product doesn't give the user a full 100% control over the heat temperature. It has a few buttons that come with their set temperature.
Third, the buttons alone can be accidentally clicked on and the heat level will easily be switched on to higher or lower. No convenient.
Fourth, after using this straightener no more than a month, i have acquired noticeable split ends, (yes i used heat protectant!!)
Fifth, during use it is very easy for the lever to be pulled causing the straightener to lock shut until removed from hair and opened by unlocking.
And finally, I'm returning this product because no matter what heat level i set, the straightener becomes unbearably hot, I can't even touch the rubber on the ends without burning my fingers. That's not good! This straightener is no where near worth what it cost. It has far too many aspects that don't allow it to be a good product to keep.
Rips Hair Out!
CattyVi from Arizona
I don't know if I got a defective one, but every time I use it it pulls some of my hair out. For the price it's definitely not worth it.
Absolutely love this product.
Michalle from Myrtle Beach
Fantastic product for various hair styles you want to achieve.
A great straightener
MrsWaffle from Fort Collins CO
I've used it only once, but so far it's amazing! I have hair that's changed in my 40s to a lot of wiry, kinky strands, and some superfine thin strands. This iron made my whole head of hair look super smooth and shiny. Heats up super fast, and stays hot! I spent a lot less time straightened than I used to with my old iron. I'm a big fan!
Miros from Fort Lauderdale, FL
My hairdresser uses one so I decided to buy one too. I love it. Hair is straight and shiny.
Amazing ! Better then the dyson!
Ana from Nj
I absolutely love this hair iron. After getting dyson iron it pulled my hair and I hated how my hair felt so I returned it and got this baby bliss and all I have to say is I'm sooo happy with this. Even straitens my extensions where the dyson didn't !
Multiple Passes, long heat transfer
Audrey from Alabama
I bought this as a replacement for my Paul Mitchell and I am very disappointed. I had to make multiple passes over very slight waves on the highest setting 465 degrees!! The heat transfer was very slow, as well as time to heat up in between passes. I would not recommend as it is overpriced and there are better products available.
Jessie from Illinois
It is super easy to use. It heats up super fast, it straightens your hair beautifully, and it curls your hair very nicely. I love the fact that you can do both with one heating tool. I would 100% recommend this to anyone worth every penny.
Curling your hair with straightener = SUCESS!
Hannah from New Jersey
This works so well to curl hair! the back side of the plates are rounded and heat up too so really gives you full volume curls. It feels so smooth running through my hair. Haven't had a new straightener in 5 years and this was worth every penny. My stylist at Ulta who does my hair uses it and I loved it and was happy to see it works just as well at home.
Wow! I have not purchased a flat iron in over 5 years
Shelly from Austin, TX
This is the first time to flat iron my curly hair and not have to do it daily. My GHD lasted me 5 yrs and I thought I would give this brand a try and I am so happy I did. It is straight for days and I have curly/very frizzy hair.
If you have thick 4 type hair buy it now
Jljclark3 from Menifee, Ca
This worked so great for my really thick hair. My hair is also pretty long a few inches past my bra strap not quite waist length. You will love it. I don't like my hair super bone straight. It got my hair nice so it's still thick but still very light and flowing.
Mia from Chicago land area
I got this straightener bc my hair stylist used it every time she cut my hair and loved the results! It makes my hair so shiny and is much faster to straighten my hair (bob length, thick/coarse hair). Keeps it shiny all day! Although, next day it isn't as straight as it was the day of straighten (might mean I need more products?) but the shine and it looks healthy is there! The price intimidated me, but I saved up all my Ulta points and used a 20% off coupon. I think that I would've paid full price for it still. It does make a noise (can't notice it until it's close to your ears) but I think it's the ions making the sound. Overall, highly recommend!
Babyliss is #1 quality in straighteners
Josie's Mom from Massillon, Ohio
Good quality. Lasts for years. Was nervous paying the extra money but LOVE it. The iron is rounded on the edges which I believes helps from pulling strands of hair.Highly recommend. Worth every penny.
I bought this for myself and my daughter

Love this product!
I love this iron.

Love how is includes a small glove for heat.
Works great on my thick, coarse hair!
Mae from Oak Park, MI
I usually keep my hair braided but wanted to straighten it to cut it. After it was straightened, cut and curled, I decided to just wear it that way. I'm really happy with this flat iron/curling iron!
