Good product but didn't last
I waited a long to buy this straightner and was super excited to use it but it didn't last but only one year. I had my chi for years and years before it gave out. Overall a good product but the latch placement was mot a good idea. Kept not closing completely because you would accidentally click on it because of where they placed it. A pro was that it got very hot, very quickly but just be careful with the metal parts. I would not buy another one for the amount it cost. I would think it would last longer.
horrible straightener
No one should buy this staightner not even on sale!!! You can get burnt so easily! Get this brands in their other straightener with the blue plates I love that one!
Best Iron!!
I have used all of the "top" flat irons. I tried the GHD Chronos and it burned my hair (returned immediately). I tried T3 and it took several passes to get the effect I wanted (gave this one away). I bought this iron almost a year ago and at first, I thought I would hate it because the OUTSIDE also heats up. I tried a few times and failed miserably because I couldnt touch the rubber tips due to heat. However, I realized that I was struggling due to having the temperature too high. On EVERY other iron I've ever used, I had to use a temp of 350+ so that's naturally what I set this one to right out of the box. I then learned that I only needed the LOWEST setting on this one (300) and it works PERFECTLY on my hair every time. The tips never get too hot now. It's so easy to straighten and it's the easiest iron I've ever owned for curls. This is also the first iron I've ever owned that doesn't EVER snag my hair. I have long hair (mid-back) that is fine-medium but I have a TON of it. Every tool has always snagged my hair but this one doesn't. I absolutely love this!!

Great product gets very hot and straightens very smooth
Excellent product AND manufacturer warranty
It's amazing, and then it broke a year after I bought it (the prong broke off). I was so pissed I was going to have to spend so much money to have it again (but I DID want it again). Then I searched and there is a manufacturer warranty!!! This one was for 4 years. It was WELL worth the investment. I went to the BabylissPro website, completed the form, took the picture of my straightener with the cord severed, and they mailed me a new one without any hassle from them, and it took them 2 days to do. Now I am just waiting for it to arrive in the mail, which they said can take 7-10 business days. WAY better than having to spend more money on a new one AND the new one is still covered under the remainder of the first one's warranty. Plus it really is a great straightener!
