I bought this and used it with no issues for 6 months. Then last week it FRIED my hair. My long hair is DONE and still, after washing, smells burnt. I got mine and in less than a month it stopped working. Was super excited to try a new straightener.

I've had mine for 5 years now and it's still going strong! I truly love it for straightening and curling. I have several other expensive tools but i always go back to this. I love the way it glides without pulling my hair. I am writing this hoping someone will address the main problem with this product- burning yourself! If they would completely cover the tip with silicone it would be a game changer. U cannot grab the tip because the edges are metal and soo hot but it's necessary when you're curling your hair. And I'm not dealing with that ridiculous glove. Please coat the ENTIRE tip! Leave everything else the same except maybe move the lock button.
Great purchase!
I purchased this flat iron a few days ago, after the GHD I'd had for 16 years died. To say I was shook was an understatement. The iron heated up quickly, and the 410 degree setting was perfect for my fine, 'straight natural' hair. I purchased the 1 inch iron, and it was easy to reach my roots. I only needed 1 pass over each section, and it left my hair shiny and not smelling burnt. I was a bit annoyed with the price, but it was definitely worth it!
Save your money
I bought this straightening iron thinking it would be amazing, WRONG. Save your money and buy yourself a more affordable straightener. I have curly hair It took me the same time that it did with my old Remington Straightener. Cant return out of my window and the box.
Need more pros for the price
This is my second purchase. Love the iron itself, it doesn't pull my hair like most. I was very disappointed in the standard plastic coated cord. My last iron had the braided cord that didn't get tangled or twisted. Also, for the price, it should have auto shut off.
