To create the lived-in waves that everyone loves, divide your hair into vertical sections. Place a flat iron about midway along the section, holding the iron downward. Curl each section around the iron, simultaneously twisting the hair around the plates. At the end of each section, use the iron to straighten the ends for a true, lived-in vibe.

DAMAGING
This straightener will rip right through your hair and any fragile end right off. I didn't even purchase this because I never hear anything good about this brand, I used my sisters one time and NEVER AGAIN.

Fantastic Hair Iron!!!!
I love how fast the iron heats to temp. It has a great digital temp setting at the bottom of the handle that twists to set. It has a protective outer rim to the iron that basically eliminates you from burning yourself. I had a Chi iron that I had used for years but love this one sooo much better!!!!!!
great but doesnt last long
ive purchased 5 of these in the last 6 years. they work great, until they stop heating up. they also tend to snag your hair after time. They will last about a year. My most recent one just died and I am trying a different brand. Not worth it for the price.
