Pulls out hair
I really like the idea of the vivration. But unfortunately, the finger grips at the top not only grip fingers, they grab your hair and pull. It is nearly impossible to do a pass without hairs being grabbed.

Amazing & Recommend
Along with the hair products I use during my hair washing routine, my hair was really soft and straight after using this straightener. I really like the vibrating aspect and that I can see the temperature through the little window. I was able to get to the root of my hair without burning my scalp.

I really didn't want to give in to the idea that expensive hair tools work better (and neither did my wallet) but dang this works beautifally! I've used it twice now and my hair turns out the silkiest its ever been using a flat iron. It works so much better than my Chi and Remington irons. I dont know the science behind the vibrations or if it actually does anything, but my hair has never flowed better, even after a crappy blow dry/wash day, so there must be something to it. No stiffness at all. I have thick 4c hair and I can get away with one pass (a few at the root but thats normal) at 390° that I cant do with my other ones. You did your big one Tracee!!

The Pattern flat iron genuinely impressed me. I used it at 390°F, and it straightened my hair very well while leaving it noticeably smoother, softer, and more polished. It glided through my hair easily and did a good job of reducing the puffiness and rough texture that can sometimes remain after straightening my hair. I also really like having adjustable temperature settings. That makes it much easier to customize the heat depending on the section of hair and how much straightening is needed. The results were even comparable to what I get from my GHD Chronos, which says a lot considering the price difference. Overall, I think this is an excellent flat iron for coarse, tightly textured hair. It feels well made, performs beautifully, and gives very good straightening results without needing to crank the heat all the way up. I would definitely recommend it.
Amazing!!
Worth the price! I have coarse hair, and it got my super straight and silky, after air dried hair. Usually straightening gets a silky look only if i blow dry my hair right before. I even rushed straightening my hair. The only thing that took some adjusting, is the vibrations. It threw me off even though I knew it vibrated. But I love it if it is a significant reason this straightener works faster. I hope for long longevity!
