I flat iron my hair at home and I use the Rev-Air hairdryer to blow it out first. I've been using this Pattern heat protectant and it helps my hair. I have 4a hair that I wear as a straight natural and this helps keeps my curls and not damage my mid-back length hair. I flat iron and blow dry my hair every two weeks. it smells good. It has oils in it so it's not drying for Afro hair. I recommend this for anybody who has dry type 3 and type 4 hair. I read the other reviews and I do not have any issues with the spray bottle. My spray bottle is halfway done and it works great.
