I have it and I don't know if it's supposed to be like a hairspray because I know it is this exact one but in a bigger bottle. When I spray it it makes my hair like really crunchy. Is it supposed to do that.
- Asked by Leia
- Official Answer By CHI - Brand EngageYou will feel some product in your hair, but try holding it further away so it's more of a mist or on damp hair to help alleviate any crunchy feeling. Was this answer helpful to you

Is this a product that will make my hair not as soft so that I CAN curl it with flat iron? It's so soft I can't use my flat iron. TIA
- Asked by Volzgirl
- Official Answer By CHI - Brand EngageHello it does help add a bit of grit on the hair to help set the style on the hair but not much. My recommendation would be to also use out Infra texture dual action hairspray at the end of styling your hair. this is a great finisher product. Was this answer helpful to you

Please don't stop making this!
I've been using Chi Iron Guard heat protectant for years on damp hair before my blow out, with Infra Texture as a finishing spray. I saw this at Ulta the other and decided to give it a try. For reference, my hair is thick, but very very fine and straight. It is cut in a chin length bob. I use...

I had high expectations ...
I had high hopes for this heat protection spray, as I've used other Chi products and loved them. The first few times I used this, I was super happy because it smelled *amazing* and made my hair shiny. But, over the next few uses, I noticed my hair was going from silky (right out of bed - tangle free...

Leaves hair sticky
I didn't like this product sticky and not managble after using heat. Leaves hair dry and easy to tangle
Heat Protectant
Hair Type Wavy Hair
i saw a video comparison on a variety of thermal protectants on tiktok and this one seemed to be the most effective. i tried it out for myself and i already love the scent! it protects my hair from heat damage and i use it right before i blow dry.
Made my hair sticky and hair fall out was crazy while using
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I would not recommend this! It pulled out my hair like crazy . Which i believe is due to the stickiness it leaves . It tangled my hair and made my straightener and comb pull out my hair from my root ! I regret ever using this ! It ruined my hair badly.
I am an Oily Greasy Mess™️
Luckily I bought this at a discounted price. I thought I was crazy after hearing so many good things but after reading these reviews I know I'm not alone. Washed my hair last night, sprayed, brushed, allowed to dry, and straightened. What a greasy oily sticky mess! How did this get past product testing?! Will be throwing it away or returning. It smells good but thats about it. Also the sprayer sucks.
