Most Helpful Positive Review Full Length Review
Here is my full length review of everything I liked and disliked about the product:
1. Actually curling the hair is super quick and creates a really cute curl that you would expect from a wand, but you don't have to actually wrap it around yourself which is a plus.
2. My boyfriend originally bought me this curling iron because I complained over and over again about how my curls never last more than an hour or two since my hair is very long and very thick. And surprisingly with this tool, the curl lasts for a very very long time. Obviously sleeping on it causes it to becomes quite frizzy, but it will last for well over 24 hours if you don't get your hair wet or brush it out.
3. Because you can only curl such small sections at a time, it does give a lot more volume than I expected. It creates more of a very formal "hair that would look gorgeous with an evening gown" look if you can picture that. I was very surprised by that, and the volume lasted just as long as the curls. (Looks better after you run your fingers through your hair a few times).
4. If you hair is not taken into the chamber properly the curler will actually beep and let you open it back up to pull your hair out. I have not had any issues with hair getting stuck in the chamber. If you place your hair properly above the chamber, you will not get your hair caught in the machine.
1. The curling iron itself is actually quite heavy, and if you have very thick hair like I do, you end up holding this curling iron up for about an hour.
2. It was not capable of curling my hair any quicker than a normal curling iron. Like I said, to do my entire head did take about an hour and I blame that on only being able to do small sections at a time.
3. You can only do small sections of hair and when you take sections too big the curl looks terrible and will most likely cause the curler to get jammed.
4. The Alternate Curl option looks terrible. Stick to R or L, and use the same amount of hair each time.
Most Helpful Critical Review okaIt's okay. Not worth the price.
My boyfriend bought me this for Christmas, hoping it would help me curl my hair faster (since I have just recently started curling my hair) it keep snagging my hair, you have to use little pieces for it to work. Some strands i had to do 4 or more times cause it wasn't working, and I had barely any hair in it. It made my hair look extremely frizzy, and looks horrible the top from it snagging hair. The curl does stay in though. I curled it yesterday afternoon and I still have some curl left.
The product was to heavy for my liking also. I would rather stand there and use a wand then deal with this.
I will be returning it.

I love this thing. I can't seem to get the hang of curling irons/wands, and flat ironed hair doesn't look right on me. This makes it super easy to get the curls I want in a foolproof way. Worth the money!
I love this curling iron 💜

I didn't think it was really going to do the job!!!
Boy was I wrong. It curled my hair in no time.
I would recommend this curling iron. the curls last all day. I was really surprised. I am now a big fan of the babyliss Collection. it's the third product I bought.I am looking into the blowdryer's love the products. I used to love hot tools. but now they have nothing on babyliss 💜🤷♀️
Beautiful Twirly Curls are finally an Everyday Possibility!!
Amy W. from Texas
I LOVE this machine - I am actually investing (i feel better about the price if I say 'invest'....haha) in a second one so that i have it available in my 'go bag' for the office, gym, travel, etc. I don't understand all of the bad reviews. I can get the curly, twirly, magical bouncy curls that take about an hour with a curling wand - in about 10-15 minutes. I can do it every day without spending obnoxious amounts of time getting ready. It takes a little practice but you'll get the hang of it quickly. If you use the right size pieces of hair and position it correctly, it won't eat your hair like some others are saying. A couple of tips - you do need to use some product to get the best final look and you MUST use the steam function. It also came with an extra steam attachment in case you need to replace yours. I find that it works better on 'day-old' hair instead of freshly shampooed - so i do my curls every other day - but maybe that's just my hair. Get it, you'll love it!!
It didn't work for me.
Lex from Logan, Ut
It would curl half the strand of hair, I often had long straight chunks with a curl at the top and bottom, but not in the middle. It looked really awkward. I read the instructions 3 times to make sure I was doing it right. I'm going to return it.
Fast and easy!

So easy! I don't like to spend time getting dressed. I like this because it's fast and easy to pinch some clumps of hair and after a little spin it comes out looking like I spent more time on my hair than I did! My long hair has never been caught. I do not think this thing is heavy either and I'm not muscle gal.
Average product for the price

I have been using this curling iron since the beginning of January. It is now the end of February. I finally feel comfortable using it after lots of trial and errors.
I had to look at the Box and the pictures in the instructions to see what the buttons were for. I'm still not sure if I have them correct but I've moved them around to make it the way I need them.
It heats up well and after you get used to your hair thickness and seeing how much you can use for it to not get stuck, it creates a nice curl that holds.
Straight now curly

A friend owns this and used it on my hard to curl hair. It really works! In wild have had a difficult time without her lesson. I like using the loose setting so it isn't so "Shirley temple". The tighter curl setting is fun for twisting into an updo.
Quick and easy

We had the original version, but after 5 years of heavy use, it no longer turns. When looking for a replacement, I settled on the newest version. The concept is the same, it is a little lighter and the options on the side light up so you are positive what you selected. We've used the new one multiple times and it is working perfectly.
I LOVE this curling machine!!

This is the best thing since sliced bread!! I get ahead full of perfect curls each time and I am showing it to all of my friends!! It is so much fun to use and the curls last for days!! Thank u for a wonderful product!!
I love this curler!
Janet from Philadelphia, PA
I just received it yesterday and couldn't wait to use it! I have thin frizzy hair, but a lot of it. No matter what I do, the curl just lasts and lasts. I put my fingers through my hair a lot and the curl is still there! I put my hair up when washing my face...curls still there! Very impressed!
LOVE IT 💕

I was so impressed with this product. I've tried it several ways & with the different curl styles & love the result every time. Curls last a long time as well.
Bought a used curler

Product I bought was used, scratched prongs bent, no instructions and not even the correct model.
Love this Product; Great Curls and Waves; Easy to Use

No complaints at all.
Waaaaaay too heavy
Seashell from Southern California
This product is so heavy that I was only able to make a couple of curls. My stylist is 26 and she complained about how heavy it is. Even when you YouTube she said you have to keep switching hands because of the weight.
Miracurl is a miracle product!

I absolutely love this product! Faster, easier, and I no longer give myself blisters from burning myself on my curling wand!
Tigger95 from Virginia
I love this! I have very thick frizzy hair and this transformed it in 30 mins tops. Beautiful shiny curls that look great. Small sections at a time work best but it's very quick. Highly recommend
I would buy this product again

I was looking for a Chi brand. It wasn't available in store however I am very familiar with the Baby Bliss brand and had no qualms about purchasing it instead. It works great! I'm very happy with it and look forward to curling my hair.
Didn't work well
Hairstyler mom from Michigan
I bought this to make life easier for doing my daughters hair for recitals and other performances. It didn't work well. I tried it on myself first and followed directions. It didn't even curl in the first attempt, my hair got stuck on the second try and it took a few seconds to get it out. My daughter is wanted to try if herself and was able to get her hair in the curler but it only curled the very bottom of her hair.
Great and easy to use!
MK from Michigan
Great tool! I personally don't understand bad reviews about this. It is very easy and very fast to use and holds curl for all day if you choose the right setting for your hair type. I use this curler very often and don't see any bad results caused to my hair. But don't forget about thermal protection. Overall very nice and easy to use.
Worth the money!

This has worked great for me and creates beautiful curls! I've not been very successful with using regular curling irons, so this was the perfect option for me! I would recommend it to anyone who has a hard time using regular curling irons.

I've tried everything on my daughters hair to hold a curl and it all falls flat. but with this, it stays for days! takes no time at all, amazing!
Ulta sells this too expensive.
Mickey from New Jersey
Great curls for any texture, but they last longer with the spray.P.S. DO NOT buy this product at Ulta, it's much cheaper at other retail stores
jansa5155 from florence, ms
This product is perfect for my thick hair. I used a different brand similar to this one, so I already knew how to manipulate it to get the perfect curls; I like this one better because I don't have to manually remove/attach parts to change curl sizes.
Liz from Covington LA
So it's fair to say that I am a novice when it comes to styling my hair. I have always tended to do the most minimal work required, but I have wanted to get some curls in my hair recently. I tried another curling iron, and the wand was too high maintenance for me, and i burned my neck pretty badly. That was obviously user error. I decided to try this because even though it's kind of gimmicky, I thought it might work. As you can see by my photo, it worked great! I have very fine hair that is chemically processed, and I don't have a lot of hair. I feel like this iron made my hair look like it had more volume, plus with my new shadow root, the curls stand out even more. It took me less than five minutes to figure this curler out after I watched a YouTube video and watched how the lady inserted the hair. It's a bit frightening when you grab too much hair and the machine sucks it up and then beeps at you and basically tightens up, and you have to release the hair. For me it was no problem because I have very fine thin hair, but I can see for someone with thicker hair that it may get caught in the iron. It is a bit time consuming to do small 1 inch sections of hair, so if you have a lot of hair, that would probably take you forever. But for somebody like me with not a lot of hair, it just took a few minutes, and I have got some nice curly waves. I used the tightest setting curl, and the curls came out rather wavy. I like the effect, and I will continue to use it, also because it's pretty easy with little chance of burning myself. LOL.
