Same day delivery is a service we offer to deliver beauty from your local store as fast as possible—all through our partner, DoorDash. The same day delivery order cutoff time is based on your local store's closing time; you'll see that at checkout. Orders placed after the cutoff time will deliver the following day.
When you go to your cart, select 'Same Day Delivery' and enter your delivery address to see if you're eligible. If you're eligible, you'll be prompted to continue with your same day delivery order. If you're not eligible, simply continue with a pickup in store or ship to home order.
Orders over $99.99 require a signature upon delivery. Orders under $99.99 don't require a signature, and will be left outside at the delivery address
Same day delivery is available in most locations. If it’s available near you, choose ‘Same Day Delivery’ in your bag and enter your address to see if you’re eligible. If you’re eligible, you’ll be prompted to continue with your same day delivery order. If you’re not eligible, simply continue with a pickup in store or ship to home order.
Same day delivery has a fee of $6.95 for all orders. If a promotion is running for a reduced same day delivery fee, the reduced amount will be displayed at checkout. Note that this fee is non-refundable for preference returns, refusing delivery upon arrival, or if you're unable to accept the order at time of delivery. The delivery fee does not include a voluntary tip or gratuity provided to the Dasher.
Yes! While it is not required, we encourage you to thank your courier by adding a tip during checkout. They will receive 100% of the tip you provide.
No, tips cannot be modified or removed after the order is placed. All tips are final.
Timing of delivery depends on your local store's cutoff time; look for that at checkout. Note that orders placed after the cutoff time will deliver the following day.
To ensure a fast and smooth delivery, remember that orders over $99.99 require a signature. Orders under $99.99 will be left at your doorstep.

If the status is 'processing', then it's currently on its way to you.
If the status is 'delivered', check the front of your home and surrounding area; the Dasher might have placed it in a concealed location. If you still can't find your order, call 1-866-983-8582.
If the order status is 'cancelled', the order was unable to be delivered and will be returned to your local store. Your refund will already be submitted for processing.
Same day delivery is only available in select locations for now, and within certain distances of select stores. If you don't live in an eligible area, you can still take advantage of our usual shipping options, or use our quick and easy pickup services in store or curbside.
DashPass is not available for same day delivery orders.
Currently, Ulta Beauty coupons can only be used on ulta.com.
Currently, Ulta Beauty gift cards can only be used on ulta.com. However, you can use a DoorDash gift card on DoorDash.com.
Sure. You can cancel an order any time before DoorDash’s Dashers start picking the order in the store. Please contact DoorDash through their website/app for any issues with your request.
The best way to receive help for orders placed through the DoorDash website or App is by navigating to your order and utilizing the in-app support flow.
DoorDash delivers to markets around all Ulta Beauty locations (excluding Ulta Beauty @ Target). To check if DoorDash delivers to your address, please go to DoorDash.com and enter your address.
DoorDash strives to make both your order and the delivery experience perfect every time, but sometimes mistakes happen. If your order was delivered, but had a missing or incorrect item, the quickest way to get help is by reporting the issue in your DoorDash account. Tap "Help" in the top right-hand corner and under “What do you need help with?” select “Missing or incorrect item” and create a report.
Items purchased through DoorDash may be returned within 60 days of purchase. Just bring the item(s) to any Ulta Beauty store (excluding Ulta Beauty @ Target stores), and make sure to bring the in-app DoorDash receipt associated with the item(s) you want to return. Your refund will be issued as an Ulta Beauty in-store merchandise credit, which can be redeemed at any Ulta Beauty store. Online redemption is not available. Items purchased on DoorDash cannot be refunded more than 60 days after purchase.

Yes! To earn points on these orders, you must link your Ulta Beauty Rewards® account to your DoorDash Marketplace account via the Ulta Beauty storefront before your order is placed. There may be additional delays (up to 3 days) for points to appear in your account for DoorDash purchases.

Guests can use Instacart+ to place Same Day Deliver orders from Ulta Beauty on Instacart marketplace. Unfortunately, Instacart+ can’t be used on ulta.com or in the Ulta Beauty App.

Currently, Ulta Beauty gift cards can only be used on ulta.com. However, you can use an Instacart gift card on Instacart.com.
You can cancel an order on Instacart in the app/website for a full refund before shopping begins. You can also make changes to your order before shopping begins on the Order screen. If your shopper has already started on your order, you can chat with them for help.
