Two months ago, I purchased Pureology's Hydrate Shampoo to try. I love the purple bottle, but I wasn't too crazy to see purple shampoo. I once had believed this would be used for those who had grey hairs, but maybe I was wrong. This had kept my brown hair looking healthy and shiny with a bouncy wave. With or without conditioner, this is a great new shampoo to try.
Ugh, the smell!
I bought the shampoo and conditioner, and while I wasn't in love with the scent in the store, I figured I would give it a shot. It makes my hair feel really good, but the smell of the shampoo and conditioner nauseate me. To me, the shampoo smells like black licorice, and the conditioner smells like peppermint. When you mix the two together, it has a really weird flowery smell that just grosses me out. It's a shane too, because I really do like the way my hair feels and looks when I use this product. I just wish they would do something about the smell.
