This non-irritating, naturally-foaming cleanser is the perfect start to around-the-clock control of breakouts, comedones and excess surface oils. Salicylic Acid sloughs off dead skin cells to clear clogged follicles, helping to prevent future breakout activity. Soothing, naturally-antiseptic extracts of Balm Mint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Burdock and Camphor calm congested, aggravated skin. Skin is left clean and prepped for optimal absorption of acne control treatment ingredients. Contains no artificial fragrance or color.

How it works:
  • Naturally-foaming cleanser clears away excess oil without stripping skin.
  • Salicylic Acid aids in clearing congested follicles and soothing irritation.
  • An anti-acne blend of botanical extracts including Licorice, Calendula, Milk Thistle, Lemon Peel, Arnica and Bergamot works with Salicylic Acid to help prevent future breakouts.
  • Tea Tree, Burdock, Eucalyptus, Golden Seal and Chamomile help eliminate bacteria.
  • Camphor and Menthol cool inflammation.

We recommend that first-time Dermalogica users visit an authorized skin treatment professional for a client consultation in an ULTA store.

      Not drying, works great

      By Liz

      from Louisiana

Comments about Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash:

I love this face wash. I have struggled with acne off and on since my teenage years. I'm 31 now and even though I'm not as oily as I used to be, I still have breakouts so finding something that fought breakouts without excessively drying my skin and making me look like a lizard has been a struggle. This stuff is amazing. I use twice a day along with the overnight clearing gel at bedtime and my skin looks great and feels balanced, not over dry. If you have more moderate to severe acne though I don't think this would work for you...

Comments about Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash:

I decided to give this a try since I had small breakouts that came from nowhere and everything I had was not working. I used this with my face brush and I immediately noticed results within two days. I love the smell of the tea tree and I can actually feel it cleansing my pores. I have very dry and sensitive skin, and I love that this does not dry out my skin even more or irritate it at all. I've been using this product for a week now and I love it. Will have to see down the road if it continues to work as it is now in order to give it 5 stars.

Comments about Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash:

When I bought this I had ok skin. I just wanted to clear up what little blemishes I had, however, this seemed to make my skin worse. I broke out. I did try it out for about 3 weeks to see if it was just an at first thing, but my skin wouldn't clear up. I switched to a different wash and my face cleared up.

I have combination acne prone skin. Hormonal cystic acne at that. I've tried everything I can possible think of and the one wash that worked for me was discontinued. Dermilogica is just so so for me. It cleans my skin but it definitely doesn't do much for acne and it doesn't do anything for uneven skin tone. The other products in the medibac kit destroyed my skin, they burned when applying and cause more breakouts, but the face wash alone is ok, until I find something that actually works.

This product definitely goes a long way. Little is more. This is my second time buying this wash and it's worth it. One bottle last me about 2 or little more than 2 months. I wash my face twice a day. A pea or dime size is fine. It lathers well, and doesn't have bad smell. I have sensitive skin with moderate acne. This wash Keeps my blemishes under control.

I've used the Ultracalming line for about 2 months now. I haven't seen a change in my skin I still breakout & still get red all over. What do you recommend?.

                • Q:

I used the clearing skin wash in combination with the oil control lotion. After the cleanser, my skin felt quite tight and the lotion didn't have enough moisturizers in it to get my skin back to normal. I have semi-sensitive skin with hormonal/stress acne around my jawline and a mixture of a few blackheads and other below the surface pimples elsewhere. Apparently my skin is more dry than I realized, granted it is winter. Should I keep using the cleanser for a few nights and just use a more potent moisturizer or is there a better option for face wash that will still clean off my make up and help my acne clear up?

Can you use this product to take off your makeup? I currently have one from Glam Glow, and I wet my face at night when I'm taking off my makeup, and then apply it. Takes all my makeup right off and cleans my skin. Looking for something similar that I can use in mornings when I wake up and evenings (to also take off all my makeup).
