Dermalogica's Age Smart Skin Resurfacing Cleanser is a dual-action, highly active, exfoliating lactic acid cleanser that achieves superior smoothness and ultra-clean skin after just one use.

Details

Benefits

  • Convenient two-in-one cleanser and exfoliant
  • Highly active lactic acid concentrate that retexturizes skin suffering from visible signs of aging by removing dulling surface debris and accelerating cell renewal
  • Daily use of this silky cleanser dramatically improves skin texture and properly prepares for maximum penetration of AGE Smart products

Key Ingredients

  • Lactic Acid: An alpha hydroxy acid that exfoliates surface cells leaving a smoother, polished surface that is receptive to subsequent active ingredients. Also helps hydrate and brighten.
  • Vitamin E: Antioxidant that conditions and enhances skin softness while fortifying skin's natural moisture barrier.
  • Rose Flower Oil: Calms skin sensitivity.

How To Use

Following the application of PreCleanse, lightly lather in hands and apply to damp face and throat morning and evening, massaging with light, upward strokes for at least 30 seconds, avoiding the eye area. Reduce to one use per day if any sensitivity develops. Follow with Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF30 when used in the morning.

Q
I have very oily skin with occasional breakouts and large clogged pores. I mainly breakout around nose and on my cheeks. I have uneven skin tone and problems shedding off dead skin. My skin is sensitive to salicylate acid if % is too high in some products.Would the skin resurfacing cleanser or glycolic acid cleanser be best??
Asked by Brookie
Official Answer By Dermalogica US - Brand Engage
Hello, thank you for contacting Dermalogica. We recommend Daily Glycolic Cleanser as it does not contain Salicylic Acid. It features Glycolic Acid as its primary active ingredient, which helps to brighten and renew dull skin. Best Wishes, The Dermalogica TeamWas this answer helpful to you

Q
Is it normal for this cleanser to cause initial breakouts? The morning after I used this cleanser for the first time I got a really small pimple... now I've got 4 small little pimples and am wondering if this would be normal or a reaction to my skin not liking it!
Asked by Kaity
Official Answer By Dermalogica US - Brand Engage
Hello, thank you for contacting Dermalogica. Skin Resurfacing Cleanser contains Lactic Acid which exfoliates. Breakouts can be a sign of skin purging. We suggest you reduce useage to every other day, allowing skin to slowly adjust. Best Wishes, The Dermalogica TeamWas this answer helpful to you

THE Resurfacing Cleanser for sensitive skin!

Over the years I've tried just about every cleanser marketed for sensitive skin. Just because some of us have more sensitive skin than others doesn't mean we don't want radiant looking complexions too! Unlike others I've tried by other companies who tout their gentle yet effective cleansers, this on...

Better for older skin

I'm 27 and have oily skin and some fine lines. I thought this cleanser might help me after reading the reviews but it dried my skin out so bad even my lips and nose were chapped! I'm disappointed because I was really excited about it but when I saw my friend she said my skin looked super dull when i...

I wanted to love this (mostly due to the price) but my skin reacted horribly. I have dry patches all over my face. I bought it to help with clogged pores. Id recommend it to someone with oily skin, maybe?

Used this face cleanser for 4 days and my face, neck, and lips are dried out. My skin is literally drinking up my cerave healing ointment. I have hives all over my face and neck. I'm in my mid 30s and wanted to get a kick start on an anti aging regime. I don't typically have dry or sensitive skin so be careful.

I have very sensitive skin, and this is the lightest formula for this type of cleanser. My skin felt amazing, but after one wash I had a horrible burn reaction. Tried it again a month later, sadly the same effect. So, be careful with washes like this. All depends on your beginning thpe.
