The oil smells pleasant and feels hydrating. It leaves my skin feeling too heavy, or a bit greasy though. It breaks me out unfortunately, but I do have oily skin so perhaps this product is simply too heavy for my skin. I did not notice any difference in comparison to any other product, though it has a pretty low percent of a retinoid.
