Excellent for Volume and Big Loose Curls I think this is one of the best Conair hot roller sets on the market. If, like me, you prefer larger rollers and often don't use the medium and small rollers included in other sets, then this is the hairsetter for you! All the rollers are 1 1/2 inches in diameter so the result is lots of volume and smooth, loose curls. The rollers heat up fast and are gentle enough on my hair to use every day (something I avoid doing with my high-heat curling iron). The set also contains 12 plastic and 12 metal clips which is a huge plus--I use both types depending on where I place the rollers in my hair.
I think that many of the negative reviews here are because people don't understand that this set is not for creating tight curls. In fact, if your hair is shoulder length or shorter, you probably will not get any curls at all; rather, you'll get a large C or S shaped wave (like you would with a blowdryer and a round brush). You also have to let the rollers cool completely and use product in your hair (frizz control serum, gel/mousse, and hairspray) if you want the curls to hold.
My hair is about two inches below my shoulders, very wavy, layered, and tends to curl easily. This set smoothes out my waves and give my hair body and shape. Love it and highly recommend!
Eh I let this warm for 5 minutes. The rollers were pretty hot. Sprayed dry shampoo on roots. Then hair spray the rest. Then started rolling my hair and left the warmer on the whole time. I let them sit in my hair for 40 minutes. Hairspray each curl as I took out the rollers. Finger combed my hair with maybe 5 strokes at best. Ands this is all the curl these gave. Hairspray again. I'm hoping it stays at least like this. Tho I wanted way more curl than I got from these. I got much more from the remington curling wand I just bought.
Maybe my hair is too long. I don't know.
I will not buy this product! 1

I bought this new version and was very disappointed compared to all the previous con air sets I had. It is a poor design which does not have the individual posts for each roller. But has a slit in each roller and a long bar within the unit. The idea being to heat the roller from the inside out. Well consequently the roller edges are extremely hot and actually burn the scalp when put in the hair. There should be a warning posted on the box ! I wish that con air would go back to the original design which is safer to use and not cause burns to the scalp or skin!
I do not recommend this hair setter and will be using a different brand which is much safer.

I have a ton of hair it's long and medium thick I often get it thinned out and it hard for me to find rollers that hold the curl - I only took one star off because I need about 16 rollers for my full head of hair and there's just not enough rollers for the amount of hair I have.
Actually straightened out my hair! 1

They warm up quickly and don't burn my fingers. The clips dont hold the rollers in my hair tightly. I was hoping for bigger rollers, they dont look like they're jumbo sized.
