I have been using Tress Effects for over 10 years but I am disappointed in the new formula and scent. The scent is very overpowering, the old scent was more neutral and not as strong. I also don't love the new formula, too many oil is weighing my hair down compared to old formula. New is not always better, guess I have I have to look for something else.

If you have fine curls this is your new best friend
I've tried so many different gels and none hit all the marks like this one does ! I have 3a FINE curls. I feel like I need a lot of gel to give me ringlets and hold them all day but everything I was using was way too hydrating for my low porosity hair. I'm obsessed with this product ! My hair clumps so nice when I scrunch in and I can coat all strands without worry of being greasy. I've never seen my hair get so tightly curled like it did with this gel. It creates a nice hard cast while drying to prevent frizz and scrunches out revealing voluminous bouncy curls. 10/10 recommend !!
