Scent too strong

I have used tress effects for over 10 years and am disappointed in the changes to the formula and scent. The scent used to be subtle the change to florals it is too strong, very overpowering and irritates my sinuses. Also as someone with classic curls all of the added oils to the new formula are too heavy for my hair. Disappointed in the changes and will be looking for a new product.
Scent and Product Cheapening

This product used to work better than the Climate Control, the Ouidad Leave-in Conditioner and the various mousses. My hair requires enough product to justify a 33 ounce bottle, too. The VitalCurl used to produce a shiny, bouncy curl, exactly as advertised. I would remove the slight crunchy texture by squeezing my hair a bit after it air dried. The Climate Control is more difficult to remove the crunch, even after completely dry. Unfortunately, that success was pleasant scent is history now that Ouidad changed the formula. If they needed to cut corners, they should have chosen a milder scent and maintained product integrity.

I apply with praying hands, scrunch and let it air dry. When I refresh on the 2nd, 3rd day, etc. with just water, curls spring back to life beautifully. Love it!
