I actually like it
I used babyliss dryers for years, but they consistently broke down after 18-24mo. I tried to initiate a warranty claim multiple times and never got a response so I switched to Chi and got this dryer. I have long (hip length) thick hair. I feel like this dried as fast, if not faster than my Babyliss. I like that its compact and travel-friendly. It's not as powerful as a full sized dryer but I was pleasantly surprised by the power it does have. It does seem to help smooth my hair, too, which is pretty frizzy usually. I don't understand the hate in the other reviews. I'm pretty happy with it. Ive had it for almost a year now as my main dryer and I've had no complaints.
Avoid if you have long hair
The back end of the hairdryer somehow sucked the ends of my hairs in when I was drying the lower parts of my scalp. It was an absolute struggle getting my hair out, and I ultimately had to rip the pieces off. I kept trying different angles but didn't succeed in preventing my hair from getting stuck again. Such a shame because it's a cute and portable hairdyer, but yikes!
Not worth it
Power is weak, even when you adjust the voltage. Basically a toy.
Waste of Money
I don't understand any positive reviews of this dryer, unless you have thin hair and no styling in it. The nozzle is so wide that it may as well not even be a feature because it creates zero air concentration. My hair still has wet spots after 20 mins and it's so awkwardly inefficient. My bangs look awful with no shape. Left it at two stars because it is compact and the spots that ARE dry are smooth. But this is worth maybe 40 dollars. Returning promptly.
Perfect hair dryer and love the colors!
I needed a new hair dryer for everyday use. I wanted one that is light weight. This travel hair dryer is perfect for every day use and it is light weight without the expense of the more light hair dryers that are closer to $200 or above. I also love the colors—pink, purple, and yellow—that is on this dryer.
