The plates on this flat iron do not close evenly; there's a pinch point at the tip that catches and pulls out a strand of hair on nearly every pass. After a few weeks of use, I have noticeably more flyaways and breakage around my hairline. Unfortunately I discarded the box, so I can't return it, but...

CHI provided me this product complimentary in exchange for my honest feedback and I am obsessed with this straightening iron. I've always been a fan of Chi Flat Irons but what I love about this one is its sleek, light weight and it's great for getting those annoying baby hairs us curly haired girls have, it gets close to the root and that's always what I'm looking for in a straightening iron. It made my hair super shiny and I love that it beeps when it's hot and you have different options when it comes to the temperature you want to put on your hair. If you have stubborn baby hairs I definitely recommend!
