• Preparation Before Use: Wash and dry your hair. Comb your hair thoroughly (Other than heat protectant for hair, do not use any spray, styling agent or other inflammable chemical hair-care products)
• Unlock/Lock: The plates are locked when first received. For first-time use, push back the "Safety Switch" to unlock the plates. You can unlock or lock tool as needed afterward
• Power On: Press and hold Power Control Button to turn on the device. The device will emit a "beep" sound and the Temperature Indicator Light will display a blue breathing mode. On first use, the device will start at the default Level 6 setting (180°F/355°C). The negative ion function is enabled by default and the negative ionic on will light up. When powered on again, the smart memory will default to the last used temperature
• Temperature Selection: Based on your hair type, slide the Temperature Control Button to select the appropriate temperature level. Slide left to increase temperature and slide right to decrease temperature. Each time the level is adjusted, the device will emit a "beep" sound. When the highest or lowest level is reached, it will emit two consecutive "beep" sounds
• Heating Up: During heating, the Temperature Indicator Light will display a blue breathing mode and the Temperature LED will blink
• Heating Complete: Once the device reaches the set temperature. The device will emit a "beep" sound. The Temperature Indicator Light will remain steadily lit in blue and the Temperature LED will stay on
• Styling: Once the device reaches the set temperature, hold it by the handle for use ensuring a safe distance between the device and your body
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power Control Button to turn off the device. The device will emit a "beep" sound meaning the Temperature Indicator Light and the Temperature LED will turn off. Store the device safely after it has cooled down
