Take a section of hair from the top of your head, place the rod at your ends and tuck them as you begin rolling downward toward your head. Keep rolling until the rod is tight against your scalp. Then, bring the ends of the rod together and wrap your hair with the included scrunchies where the rod ends meet. Repeat the process until all the rods are in place. Allow your hair to set or wear overnight. Remove, tousle, and style for effortless waves and curls!

Shocked and surprised! I have fine hair that doesn't hold much curl. I used the VELVET XL flexi rods on my damp hair, left them in for a few hours and wow!!! My hair had body and waves that made for a great night out! I slept in them once and they were comfortable. Love these!

These are great curlers! The velvet really grips the hair, holding it in place nicely. The rods are very easy to mold and stay in place. The curls are beautiful and I love that it doesn't damage my hair like heat does.
Not great for medium length, fine hair?

The first time I used the velvet flexi-rods, it did not go well. I wrapped 3 of them in my fine, dry hair, set them for about 4 hours and nothing. The next few times, I sprayed the Kitsch leave-in conditioner in each section first. I wrapped 3 rods, used the satin scrunchies to hold in place, let them set for about 3 hours and had some very loose curls. Unfortunately, they didn't last long. Even with hairspray. Bummed. I know they are meant to wear overnight, but when I tried laying on them, they were awkward and uncomfortable. Maybe I should try the satin, thinner rods? Maybe it's just my hair?

I love my rods! I use them overnight to help me create lovely locks in the morning. They are easy to use and don't damage or snag my long fine hair. Definitely highly recommend them to try.
Awesome Product - Hard to Get the Hang Of

I'm a fairly smart individual.. with that said, I couldn't figure out how to do these right after several tries. I see them work for everyone else and I love the curl patterns others get from them so this is clearly operator error, but still took away from how much I enjoyed the product. I absolutely LOVE these colors and that Kitsch also has matching scrunchies. I would highly recommend using in combination with the bonnet.
