Listen to the reviews, they are all totally truthful. It made my hair feel straw-like and dried it out so bad. It was really tangled and the smell was horrendous. My hair smelled like a mixture of gasoline and motor oil after using this shampoo. It did not take the brassiness out just in spots. I wanted to return it, but I got it as a "buy one, get one free" and it would have been a hassle.

Best purple shampoo
This is the only brand of purple shampoo that really works. My hair can get brassy very easily, but this shampoo keeps the brass away and keeps my blonde beautiful. I've tried many, many purple shampoos and none come close to Joico. Highly recommend!
